UK's largest childcare platform allows parents to search for Covid-19 vaccinated childcare providers

Childcare.co.uk, the UK's largest childcare platform with more than 2.5 million members, now allows parents to search for childcare providers and tutors who have received a Covid-19 vaccine.

Childcare providers and tutors can now optionally add the I'm Covid-19 Vaccinated tag to their profiles to show other members their vaccination status.

The search results for both childcare providers and parents seeking childcare can now be filtered to show only those members who have stated that they have received a Covid-19 vaccination.

Further, childcare providers and parents can optionally upload evidence of their vaccinations to the Childcare.co.uk My Documents digital vault to enable Childcare.co.uk to validate the vaccination status.

Childcare providers can securely share their documents, including Covid-19 vaccination evidence, with parents if they choose to invite them to view them.

"Recently, we have noticed that many parents are advertising for childcare providers and tutors who have had the Covid-19 vaccination and so in response to demand from our community, we now allow both childcare providers and parents seeking services to optionally show their Covid-19 vaccination status on their profiles.

"We understand that Covid-19 vaccines can be an emotive subject but believe that the new feature will provide choice to both childcare providers and parents who have concerns about their children being cared for by childcare providers who have not received the vaccine.

"We understand that the vast majority of qualifying members have already taken up their opportunity to receive a vaccine but we are now able to display this information on our platform as a reassurance to parents who have concerns."
