We will always be grateful for Julia's House!

Julia's House is an amazing home from home environment with a whole lot of love! My son was diagnosed with Type One Diabetes whilst Julia was his childminder and without hesitation Julia stepped up to learn everything about his care, including administering injections - which we will be eternally grateful for. She made a very difficult situation a whole lot easier for our family, which shows just how much she truly cares for her mindees! I will always without hesitation recommend Julia to anyone in need of a fun, loving and caring home from home childminder.

Absolutely Amazing!

If I had to describe Julia in a single word it would be ‘ amazing’. I moved home to Haworth after many years away and it was really important to me that my children (aged 4 and 10 at the time) felt comfortable with their carer when I returned to work. Julia’s House has been a real ‘home from home’ for my two boys from their first visit and they both look forward to spending time there.

Julia is always friendly and energetic and her warm nature shines through in the way she interacts with all of the children regardless of age or ability. There are always activities going on at the house with regular trips to the park after school and a wide range of outings during the holidays.

I trust her implicitly and cannot recommend her highly enough, knowing my children were in such capable hands made starting my new job much easier. If you want a professional, caring childminder with endless supplies of energy and a real love of their job you need look no further than Julia!

A lovely, friendly and caring childminder

My 2 boys have been going to Julia for several months now. My youngest who has just turned 1 was instantly settled at her house as she is naturally caring, warm and loving towards him and he appears very happy and contented with her.
My eldest son who is 5 looks forward to going to her house after school as she is happy fun loving and always has plenty of different activities or games to play with them. He always enjoys his time there and frequently doesn't want to leave when I arrive to collect him.
I feel totally at ease sending my children there and would thoroughly recommend her to anyone as I know she has my children's best interest at heart!!

Our Julia

I decided to send my daughter, Bella to Julia as I felt she offered the best of both worlds...mixing with other children as well as having a second mum which is the only way I can describe Julia. She treated Bella as her own, for Bel it was like a home from home.
Bella loved going to Julia's and there wasn't a single day that Julia didn't have the patient to take Bel and any other children she had on the day to do something exciting or different...anything from flying a kite in the park to sledging, Bel did it all with Julia.
I found Julia after observing her at the cafe where I worked. She was a natural with any child she came in with and all this while she wasn't aware she was being watched.
Bella loved her time with Julia, which was about two years all together and the only reason Bel stopped going was because she started school.
I can't recommend Julia enough and as I am currently having my second baby I am happy to state when I return to work after the birth my second child will be going to her too.

Fantastic and fun

Julia is always energetic and enthusiastic, especially first thing in the morning, and takes excellent care of our children. They have always had a fun action packed day whatever the weather and love spending time with her. Julia cares for them as if they were her own and pays attention to their individual needs - my son is dairy allergic. If you need childcare in the area, make Julia your first port of call and you can be confident your children will have an amazing time.

Just brilliant!

My daughter thinks Julia is the bees knees! Julia has lots of patience and time to give to the children in her care. My daughter always comes home beaming about what they had done, she never wantsto come home! My other daughter also loves julia to bits and always runs to her for a cuddle. Both my girls love her children too.

Its such a friendly, warm and welcoming atmosphere and i would recommended Julia to anyone, as you will be put at ease that your children are being well cared for and loved by such a wonderful lady! a real life Mary Poppins :-)
