Hello, My name is Elly and I am currently based in Chiddingfold. I have over 8 years experience and I really enjoy my time looking after Children. I am trustworthy, reliable, caring and loving. I am very hard working and always ensure that your child safety is the biggest priority while creating fun stimulating activities throughout the day. I like spending lots of time outside too.

My Experience
I currently work in Nursery where I work within the Management team as Deputy.
My role is to provide care to the children throughout the day, work closely with parents as well as provide fun yet meaningful activities to help the children to grow and develop based on their current interests.
I am also SENCO for the Nursery.
I have also worked as an Au Pair for a family in Sydney. I looked after three young boys; 3 months, 5years and 6 years old when I started. I had sole charge of the boys throughout the day and would prepare fresh meals as well as take them to activities during the day.
I have also covered short and long term nanny positions for families where I have sole responsibility as well as working alongside parents who are home too from newborn to school age.
Before I came out to Australia I worked with disabled children as a Play worker at a local disability centre for young people. Here the children ranged from 4-12 years old. My role was to either be one - to - one with a child or supervise a group of them playing in one area. Some of the activities i'd do with the children included: outdoor play, arts and crafts, reading stories and cooking.
I also babysit for many families in the day and evening where I look after babies to older children. Some of the things that I do while babysitting children are arts and crafts, going out to the local park, adventure farms, reading stories and baking. For the majority of children I babysit I also put them to bed.

Level 3 in Childcare
Certificate of Higher Education in Primary Education
I have completed my A levels which I studied Psychology, Sociology and Health and Social Care.
DBS checked.
Designated Safeguard Lead training.
I hold a full clean driving license (7 years).
Paediatric blended first aid trained since 26/10/24
Level 2 in managing behaviour in children and young people.
Level 2 in children and young peoples mental health.
Level 2 food hygiene certificate.
