We have known Jane for about 6 years now and she is great.100% reliable, trustworthy and always on time! When our children were smaller she would do adhoc childminding and babysitting for us but since she took the decision to move to becoming a nanny last year she has worked for us as our part-time nanny-housekeeper on Thursdays and Fridays each week. She gets the kids ready for school, breakfasts, school runs, kids tea, overseas bathtime and reading etc. She brings years of experience in a professional capacity looking after children as well as being a mother of grown up children herself (always reassuring), and she has been brilliant & very flexible. She is also fantastically tidy(!) and runs the house for us Thursdays & Fridays, does all of our ironing, and always proactively takes on the extra jobs that need doing around the house to keep it nice. I would have no hesitation in recommending her...
Overall
We have known Rosey for 4-5 years and she has looked after our children, pets and horses on a part-time and adhoc basis throughout whilst she's been studying for her social workers degree. She is a lovely person to have around - incredibly diligent, sunny, hardworking and reliable. Never gets phased by anything - really good at using her initiative and has a good balance between having fun with the kids and maintaining structure/discipline. I have never had any concern with leaving her sole charge with her in charge of both the kids and ponies and we wouldn't hesitate to go to her for any adhoc help and do to sleepovers for us etc.
