We have had the most amazing experience with Mandy. Our little boy was 22 months when he started with her and it was the first time he had been to anyone except us. She was super relaxed about the settling process and he settled really quickly and loved the environment, and her and all the other children.
When he came to Mandy we were a bit worried about his speech as it had been very slow to develop but within a couple of months he was just completely flying. He’s now very chatty, is constantly curious and is amazing at imaginative play. I think so much of this has come from Mandy.
Mandy is so kind and loving towards the children but she is also really fun and cares about their development and keeps us up to date so we can work together to help him. She made such an effort over Christmas with them all which was so lovely during lockdown and he is always excited to go there and chats about it when he is at home. The food is amazing too, so healthy and delicious. It has really helped him stay adventurous with food and very polite with his please and thank yous!
We are moving out of London and are so sad to leave Mandy’s. He will miss her so much and so will we. We can not recommend her highly enough. Any child (and parents!) would be very lucky to have Mandy in their lives.

We have always felt happy and secure leaving our 1 year old son in Mandy's care this year. Her wealth of experience and sense of humour and fun have really allowed him to thrive. He has always been cheerful, well-fed and well-rested after a day will Mandy and has really developed in confidence as a result of his time with her. We have been so impressed by the different experiences Mandy has been able to offer - trips to the park and zoo, art and cooking activities to name a few. Thank you Mandy for looking after our son with so much love and kindness, he will really miss you!

Response by Mandy on 25/07/2019:
Ahhh Rowan what a lovely thing to say, your son was a pleasure to have in my care, I loved every minute of him being here, he really is a hoot, and I'm sure he will continue to thrive just as he started to here.
I'm going to miss you all too.
I can not recommend Mandy highly enough. She has been looking after my daughter since she was 6 months old and 8 months down the line I don’t know what we would do without her. She’s part of the family. Our daughter loves her so much and is so happy there. Mandy is so warm and her home is a relaxed, loving family environment. It’s a proper home, and a million miles from the impersonal experience many friends have had with nurseries. We celebrate milestones together, and I know she’s as happy as we are to hear a new word or see her learning.
But the really great thing about Mandy is that while she does all of that, she’s also an absolute pro. She really helps me understand my daughter’s development and does loads of different activities with her. She teaches her something new every day and always has ideas when we are struggling with something.
Being apart from your child is hard, but if you have to, Mandy is the best alternative to being there yourself. I’m so glad she is on this journey with us.

Thank you Amy for such kind words, I'm sitting typing this with tears (WATER) rolling down my face, You've made me out to be something amazing when I'm just me doing a job that I love to do. Thank you again
Mandy started looking after our little girl when she was 5 months old. We finished our time with her when Ella was 3.5 years as we moved from the area. Ella loved Mandy and we felt that Mandy loved Ella! We decided on a childminder after a miserable nursery experience and finding Mandy was a life saver. Ella spent 5 days a week with Mandy from 7am - 6pm and was absolutely happy and content. Mandy went above and beyond for us, collecting Ella when we were sick, being flexible with our working hours and being a mum to Ella throughout the week. Mandy was great with feedback, tracking Ellas progress and letting us know what to work on next to move her forward. We honestly wouldn’t have managed without her and only wish we could have moved her out of London with us!!

Response by Mandy on 29/12/2018:
Wow Rhian thank you for your kind words. I loved every second with her, she never failed to make me laugh, and nor did either of you when telling about of her antics at home. I don't think anywhere outside East London would cope with me! but such a lovely thing to say. xx
I'm not sure where to start but I feel like I should begin by saying Mandy has made life a breeze since she has been looking after my son. He was there for over a year and he loved it. He is no longer with Mandy but still asks for her now! She always made him feel welcome and I always felt at ease leaving him with her while I was at work.
She is very warm hearted, kind and loving in nature and always goes that extra mile to ensure your needs are catered for. I couldn't have asked for a better minder for my son. Mandy is always upbeat and positive which was amazing for my son to be around, he always left there happy, with a big smile on his face. I really couldn't have asked for a better minder for my son.
Thank you Mandy!

Thank you Kam for such a lovely review, it was a pleasure getting to know you all and looking after your son, my favourite memory is I now always look at buses to see if they are a happy bus or not. :) xx
I genuinely haven’t got enough words to praise this woman with (but I’m going to try anyway!)
I remember struggling to decide between a nursery setting or a childminder for my son, who was about 19 months at the time. I tried a nursery setting, and that lasted 4 days once I realised my child was crying from the moment I dropped him off to the moment I arrived back! I decided then that I would let my son tell me where he wanted to be by his body language and behaviour and that I would trust him to know. I met a lady about 2 days before Mandy, and my son was clinging to me the whole time we were in her house. So, I messaged Mandy the next day and arranged to meet her later that same week. She was really polite over her messages, which is always a good first sign. When my son and I arrived at her house, it took him all of literally 5 minutes to get down off my lap and play with the toys on her living room carpet! That’s when I knew this was where I wanted him to be. Mandy was honestly an angel in disguise. She looked after my child like he was her own & there were many days I spent having a long chat about anything and everything outside her welcoming home. We have literally cried together, laughed til we nearly wet ourselves and she even became buddies with my sister, whom became part of our extended childcare family! Honestly, Mandy I simply one of a kind. She was meant to care for my child and I’m so glad I found her. She’s given me advice, she’s listened to my fears, she’s bent over backwards to support me and my son when I genuinely thought I would lose my kind at times. She’s cooked me dinners to take home sometimes when she knew I had worked late, she’s kept him or extra time without charge, she’s gone above and beyond for me in every way and I love her dearly. x

Wow La Keshia What do I say to that, I know you told me not to cry, but here I am reading it again and crying again. Its been a pleasure working and laughing with you through the years, watching your son flourish into the happy, caring young man you said you hoped he would become on the first meeting. x
Right, so I have really really not wanted to write up this review. Not because I don't want to, but because I know its going to get the waterworks started!
Let me start by saying that Mandy, by far, is one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. She has made such an impact on not just my son's life (who she looked after), but my whole family's. Even those that never got the chance to meet her. My hands are shaking and my lips are trembling now, I really wish I could have brought Mandy on our new journey in Dubai with us but unfortunately Mandy couldn't lol!!
I remember before I started teaching at my school in Newham having a look on this website and coming across Mandy's profile... I thought to myself... phwoarr Mandy sounds to good to be true, so then I ended up going with a local nursery. It was only until a year later where I realised it just wasn't working for him and I looked on here again and thought I would message Mandy. She was an absolute delight and answered all of my questions and any doubts that I may have had, and lucky for us, she had an opening in January yay! She let us in to her home for my son to get a feel for what her learning environment and home environment is like. Aadam took a liking straight away...
Now, my son always cried every morning before going to nursery, but he didn't have that with Mandy, he was always excited and eager to go except for those mornings where he was being a grumpy little goat!
When it came to collecting him it was always a struggle getting him to the car as he just wanted to keep playing!
Mandy has looked after my son as if he were her own, she loved him as if he were her own, she let him and us into her life as we were her own. She picked me up when I was down, she even jump started my car when it was a goner, she taught me how to fix up the rear light with a thump haha! She even taught me how to start getting rid of my hay fever! Im telling you now, Mandy is a walking talking Google search engine!
I am really jealous of anyone who gets the chance to put their blessings with Mandy, She is such a down to earth, loving, joyous, caring, enthusiastic, angel I just can't sing her praises enough. She never once made me feel guilty that my son hadn't yet been potty trained and I am still convinced that to this day that had it not been for Mandy, my son would probably still be wearing his nappy!!! He would come into the car and tell me how Mandy would excitedly tell him how proud she was of him. The fact that it mattered to my son just summed it all up how much Mandy and her family meant to him!
Mandy was always excellent at keeping me up to date with how he was doing with his learning and development and never failed to keep his files on point. His going home file was always filled in with comments and listed everything he had done for the day.
There is nothing but goodness about this lady and I am lucky and proud to call her my friend, my sister, my family... even if she refuses to believe it! But I will never ever stop thanking god for blessing us with someone as wonderful as herself and her family. I promise you, you will not regret your decision in placing your child(ren) with her. She will make your work-life so much easier with her expertise in almost every field and more so her looking after your blessings.
I know I am repeating myself so I will stop there. Thank you Mandy for being everything you are, I cannot wait to see you when we come back to the UK and hope that if you ever decide to come to dubai, you will stay with us so we can show you around!
Love you to the moon and back xxxxxx

Wow Nel what can I say to that, Thank you seems such a small word but it is all I have. You are part of my family and always will be, it was a pleasure looking after your son ... my little pieder man! I hope you all have a wonderful adventure in Dubai.
I love you all too, and like I've always said I'm always at the end of my phone.... And yes i'm crying writing this too.
I'm saving hard so we can all come and visit you, just have the air con set to freezing!! xxx
that looking after children for her was a vocation. During the home visit Mandy was very reassuring and very professional. My girls who were only just 8mths old took to Mandy and didn't cry when we entered her home. That made my decision.
Mandy always treated my girl's like they were her own, the girls thrived while in mandy's care. Mandy also keep you update on your child's development and progress and she always operated an open door policy which was very reassuring. Mandy was absolutely fabulous at work and the girls were always learning and developing new skills and building on existing skills.
Would I recommend Mandy? Yes she is a honest, hard working professional, everything she does is for the children in her care. The girls would have stayed with Mandy until they were 5, but due to career progression we had to leave. Myself and the girls will miss Mandy a great deal as she has played a valued part in mine and the girls life's for the last 3 years.

Ohh Lou that's done it you made me cry again!!!
Thank you for your kind words. It was a pleasure working with you and your beautiful girls I wish you every success at uni and the girls will go on thriving no matter where they are.
Take care Mandy
I have three children and Mandy has looked after, cared for and loved all three of them. She first looked after my son (who is now 18 and taller than her) when she was the manager of a baby room in a nursery. It couldn't bear to leave my first born child and I cried like a baby in the nursery but then Mandy came and talked to me and reassured me that everything was going to be ok and it was. So six years later when I had my daughter then my other son there was nobody else that I was going to leave them with. By then Mandy had left the nursery and was set up at home as a registered childminder. Being a working mum is the hardest thing but if you are lucky enough to have a Mandy then that job becomes a lot easier.

No thanks needed It was a pleasure, I will never forget the look on your face that first morning, I was crying with you!
But lets be honest here it's not just your oldest that is taller than me any more because the youngest is too!!
Thank you for your kind words

Very lovely and kind lady. When I visited her I felt at ease and confident that my son would be in great hands.
She's very friendly and easy to talk to, which makes you feel that she is not just a childminder but also a friend too.
Would have no hesitation leaving my son with her. Would recommend to all.
Look forward to working with you in future xx
