We feel so grateful that we found Katie & James' childminding services when we did. After spending a very long time looking in the area at both nursery and childminding settings (but with out much luck) we immediately felt assured that our son would thrive in their setting after meeting with K&J.
Our son was immediately comfortable with them (which was amazing seeing he was a lock down baby and had never spent time away from us prior to being at their setting) and from the get go we felt at ease knowing he was in their care.
We love the vast and interesting range of activities they do at home (inside and in their well equip garden), the outdoor fun they have at playgroups, in the woodlands, playgrounds and more , the daily updates/photos and the intimate setting. His development (particularly speech and eating/trying new foods) has improved drastically in the last year and Katie and James have been so attentive with helping him thrive.
We truly feel so grateful to have found them and at the same time very sad knowing this chapter is coming to an end as our little one prepares for school!

I highly recommend Katie & James. They are amazing with the children and very caring. Their home is lovely and welcoming and my daughter absolutely loves both of them.
Besides all the activities they do at home with the children they regularly take them to the park and to so many other lovely outings. We always receive photos and updates and are very pleased with how much our daughter has developed herself.
Katie and James have always been so supportive since the first settling in days and whenever our daughter needed most. We are very grateful to have found them and reassured that our daughter is well looked after.

Katie and James have looked after our two daughters over a 7 year period and we could not have asked for more from them. We have always been absolutely blown away with the level of care, love and support they have given. It really is a home from home setting, and both girls settled quickly, formed strong relationships with Katie and James and with the other children, and have loved their time there. The quality of care given to the children when young, the aid in learning and development as they grow, the variety of activities (especially time spent outside exploring all year round), the quality of the food and the safety and warmth the children feel is second to none. We get regular updates and photographs through the day of what they are up-to and can see how much fun they are having.
Both our daughters really love Katie and James and feel part of their family. It is going to be heartbreaking for us and them when our youngest leaves to go to school!

I cannot reccommend Katie and James highly enough. Our daughter has been with them from 11 months old and will be leaving to start full time nursery in September, and to say it will be an emotional departure is an understatement. Our daughter loves going to them more than I think she enjoys being at home! She has thrived in their nurturing and loving environment they create for the kids, and I am always so impressed with the endless activities, outings and special occasions they do for the children. Celebrating birthdays and holidays throughout the year, while making sure we are constantly updated with photos and communication on her progression, development, and general wellbeing. They have become like a second family for her, are so extremely patient and welcoming, and the friendships she has made at their setting not only with the children in their care but other childminders they meet up with to allow the children to play and meet with other children has been wonderful to see.

Katie and James make the perfect team! We have been thrilled with their childminding skills, their creativity in keeping the littles ones engaged and their pure joy and energy and all nature walks and exploration.
My son has been there since he is one and he absolutely loves it there. They have great facilities with lots of toys and games and I love that they take the kids out so much to parks and zoos and they keep it very interesting . They do homemade great food and takes lot of effort in making birthdays very special and celebrates all the festivals .
I am at complete ease when my son is with them as I know he is happy and safe and is fully occupied and is having fun !
We would happily recommend Katie and James to anyone looking for their little ones to be taken of by the best !

Our son loves Katie and James, and so do we. As a first time mother I was nervous to leave my little boy with anyone but after meeting Katie and James I felt so at ease. They have been looking after him,for more than 1,5 year, since he was 17 months old. They are amazing and my son has settled in well and loves to go to there. He regularly talks about them at home.
They do really interesting and educational activities with the children and they take them out nearly every day to places like Chessington World of Adventures, Wisley or to the local parks and playgrounds.
They are always happy and do everything with such enthusiasm. We are very grateful that we found them.

We started with Katie and James with my 1 year old daughter (now 4) and we were so impressed with the love, care and wonderful environment they have there that we are now sending our younger son there as well. They have an amazing setting and always make sure that the children have plenty of outings and fresh air mixed with indoor play, arts, crafts, music and learning.
We could not have asked for a better family to look after our children and we have seen them thrive, build their confidence and make such wonderful and strong friendships along the way.
The children love their childminding family and we’ll all be incredibly sad when we have to leave!

My daughter started with Katie and James from the age of 9 months and stayed there right up until beginning school this year. To say I was devastated when our EY journey came to an end is an understatement. I could not have asked for a better environment for my daughter to have been in.
Katie and James provide a nurturing home from home setting, and my daughter thrived under their care. From plentiful outdoor activities and trips to structured learning through play, my daughter had the best start in life I could ever have hoped for. She made friends for life and every day looked forward to going. The personalised photos and messages throughout the day made me feel so included in her life whilst I worked.
I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We are so lucky to have had Katie and James as an extension of our family for the past 4 years. They have looked after both my children since they turned one and I couldn’t ask for a more caring, fun and nurturing setting for our kids. Their EY training have developed my kids faster than I could ever have done and our kids have formed some wonderful friendships with the other children there. We are kept updated daily with photos via WhatsApp and a daily diary via BabyDays app. Katie and James are always available to chat through any concerns and help work through any necessary actions. My kids have had the best start within their setting.
