Lidia has been our afterschool pick up nanny on and off for the last three years. She is childcare qualified level 3.
The role involves picking up our 3 children, aged 11,7 and 4, from 2 different schools, either directly afterschool or after school activities. Each day is slightly different and she manages the routine with ease.
Once home, Lidia gives them a light snack, ensures homework is completed, music is practiced and readers are read and that the children are bathed, happy and relaxed by the time I arrive home from work.
The kids respond to Lidia brilliantly. She is gentle and kind but incredibly firm – she never raises her voice but manages to influence the children in a way they don’t realize.
Lidia is reliable, punctual (in three years she has never been late), kind, calm, fair and efficient.
My kids adore Lidia.
I would highly recommend her as a nanny. We are incredibly sad to loose her but understand that she requires a role with more hours than we are able to provide.
