Our now 3.5 year old has been with Charlie from 10 months. We looked at both nurseries and childminders in our search for childcare but immediately upon meeting Charlie knew she was the right choice for our family.
Charlie is warm, enthusiastic and has such a natural way with children….our daughter warmed to her immediately and continues to love everyday she spends at Charlie’s house.
Spending time with other childminders and their children, our daughter is extremely social and confident whilst also benefitting from the home-from-home comfortable familiarity that only a childminder can offer.
As well as daily updates provided by Charlie, we learn all about the developmentally-focussed and different fun activities she does daily when she gets home…and what home-cooked meal was on offer!!

It is with a very heavy heart that we are moving on from Charlie due to moving house. I simply can’t recommend Charlie enough, she is amazing. She has looked after both my children for 16 months and they have grown to adore her and her children.
Charlie always has a fantastic week planned with the children including arts and crafts, outings, physical and social activities. She would take my youngest (who is 2 and doesn’t go to nursery school yet) to lots of play groups and children events each week so he can get to experience play with other children. Here she makes sure he can develop his relationship and communication skills. Charlie does wonderful craft and cooking activities with all the children and my daughter would come home with some beautiful elaborate works of art. Charlie makes a huge effort to plan gift making or card making for birthdays and other public celebrations which is fun for the children and means a lot for the parents to receive them. Charlie taught my daughter to write her name and continual assists in her learning and development.
We can rely on Charlie to give the children fun packed, safe and interesting days. The children are surrounded by love and happy times with all the correct boundaries. We are so incredibly sad to be leaving her and her children.
