Our son has been with Sharron for 3 years following an unpleasant experience in a formal nursery environment. We were welcomed into her family home where it has been associated as home away from home for 3 years.
The range of activities and care Sharron provides is second to none and she continually went above and beyond to make the experience a fun and engaging one.
Our son has developed by learning through play whilst following the early years curriculum guidelines.
The personal touches have all been greatly appreciated from homemade cards, presents, drawings and crafts whilst also providing a daily diary of our sons record which we treasure.
On behalf of our son and us all we would like to Thankyou for welcoming, supporting and encouraging him as one of your own.
It goes without fail that we undoubtedly will miss you but equally know this is not goodbye.
As parents we highly recommend Sharron to all looking for a childminder locally.

Thank you Rebecca. I miss Jakob so much and hope he’s enjoying school life as much as he did here. Xx
Sharron has looked after both of my children and they absolutely loved their time there, Sharron used to take my eldest daughter to school and my youngest all day, her care is the best around, my youngest daughter was very funny with different people at first but settled straight away and even asked to go on weekends, she had lots of fun trips and outings over the years, as a family we were very sad to say goodbye but will remain in contact forever, Sharron became a friend not just a childminder! Sharron goes above and beyond to accommodate the children. The learning journey Sharron provides is amazing, full of pictures, comments and art work that you can treasure forever! Sharron and her family are amazing! It’s definitely home from home, I would recommend to everyone!

Thank you for your lovely words Amie. I am missing you all already 😢. Definitely will stay in touch xx
Sharron has looked after our children, aged 9 and 6, for 5 years where she provided a safe and happy environment for them to be whilst we were at work.
During this period of time, my son was diagnosed with both a peanut allergy and also a gluten intolerance. This did not phase Sharron who not only was already epipen trained but also willing to adapt menus so that he could enjoy the same meals as the other children in her care.
The children really enjoyed the time that they spent at Sharron's and we are most grateful for all of her support during the early years of the children's schooling.

Our daughter has been with Sharron for around 2 years and we could not be happier with what she does for our family. Our daughter loves Sharron and her family (including the four-legged members!) and my wife and I get on extremely well with her too. She is very down to earth, professional and straightforward to deal with and all her communications are very clear and efficient. The setting (her house) is clean and tidy and very well set up for the children. Sharron is fantastic with the children as she has a great personality and she is always finding fun things to do with them. She is not one of those childminders who makes the children fit in around her life, as Sharron makes the children her number one priority and fits her life around them. We feel so lucky to have found Sharron and to have secured a place with her for our daughter as I know she is in high demand and such places are like gold dust. If you are looking for the perfect childminder, look no further!

My daughter has be going to Sharron since Feb 2014. As soon as my daughter entered her house she felt instantly comfortable and was able to leave my side and explore(something she rarely did elsewhere).
Sharron has always supported and aided my daughters development. She provides fantastic every day care, but also the activities and trips provided I feel have brought my daughter on even more.
Sharron's learning journeys are also something to be admired. It is great to see all the things that my daughter has been doing when I am not around, with pictures and photographs. The detail in them is fantastic.
I would defiantly recommend Sharron to anyone looking for childcare. Sharron is more than just a Childminder. My daughter absolutely loves her.

We moved from using another childminder in the village during the summer before our daughter started school. What could have been a traumatic time for our daughter turned out to be one of the best summers ever. It is testament to Sharron that our daughter settled in so quickly and without stress.
Sharron is brilliant with the children and provides a top notch service. She is approachable, supportive, organised and provides a safe haven for the children to have lots of fun. During the holidays Sharron always has lots of activities planned and she thinks outside the box! Last summer she took our daughter to the park regularly... Visited the Coventry Motor Museum, Conkers and West Midlands Safari Park.
We've been using Sharron's services for two years now and I've got no hesitation in recommending her as the perfect person to trust with the welfare of your treasured children whilst you are at work. She is the best!

My little boy started with Sharron Sept 2012 at 13 months old until he started school in sept 2015. From the very first time he met her he settled straight away and this was because it felt like home from home. Sharron is caring, compassionate and treats all the children as if they were her own. Reuben loved all the activities that they did whether it was attending toddler groups, having days out or even doing arts and crafts, cooking and playing games at Sharrons home with all the children especially Sharrons own children who Reuben adores. I loved that Sharron filled out a daily diary of all the things Reuben had done and whether he had eaten well, napped well etc. Sharron also fills out a learning journal which includes photos of things they are doing, pictures/drawings they have done and how they are meeting their milestones which I found invaluable as a parent. This learning journal was then shared with the local playgroup which Reuben attended so they could have an insight into what he likes and dislikes and what milestones he has achieved. I found this made his transition to playgroup a lot easier. When Reuben started school we were all sad that our time had come to an end with Sharron. We could not have asked for a better childminder who even now will let me know when she has space in the school
Holidays to see if Reuben would like to go,
which of course he jumps at the chance. I would highly recommend Sharron to anyone who's looking for a childminder.

Sharron was the child minder for my daughter Frankie from November 2015 until January 2017. Frankie was 2 years and 9 months old when she first started going to Sharron’s and attended full time. She settled in immediately and was always excited to go to Sharron’s. Despite always being reluctant to have a nap, Sharron somehow managed to get her to nap without issue from the first day.
Frankie had 3 meals a day at Sharron’s house and I was always happy that she was well fed and enjoyed having family meals at the table, reinforcing appropriate manners and meal time behaviour.
Frankie enjoyed regularly attending tots groups with Sharron, which helped develop her social skills and confidence. Creative play was a regular occurrence whilst at Sharron’s house, and Frankie often came home with some weird and wonderful creations which she was very proud of. Sharron organised a variety of activities, such as baking and making a fairy garden. Frankie loves to play outside and with Sharron this was frequently indulged with her garden full of toys, and many trips to various parks.
When Frankie started pre-school, Sharron dropped her off and picked her up which has allowed Frankie to make friends that she will attend school with.
When it came to potty training, Sharron happily coordinated our approach to ensure it was not a stressful time for Frankie.
It has always been obvious to me that Sharron cares deeply for Frankie, and all of the children in her care. I have only stopped using her as a child minder as I am now on maternity leave and Frankie is at home with me. Frankie will hopefully be attending the school in Sapcote, which unfortunately means we will have to make alternative arrangements for wrap around care if and when I return to work. If we lived in Stoney Stanton and Frankie was going to attend Manorfield Primary School, I would have already reserved a place with Sharron for wrap around care for Frankie, and also full time care my new daughter.

Sharron provides a great home from home setting for my 7 year old daughter and 4 year old son. Giving them breakfast, taking them to and from playgroup and school- it's invaluable having someone who can take on this role whilst my husband and I are at work. I can also use my 15 hours (soon to be 30) funding with Sharron as well as my childcare vouchers which is great! The kids look forward to going to Sharron's house- she has a fabulous garden with lots of activities for the children and come rain or shine she always has something planned for them. Last year in the Summer holidays she even took them to West Midlands Safari Park! Supportive and kind with nothing but the best interests of the children at heart, I would have no hesitation in recommending Sharron to any parent looking for a stable and happy environment for their child.
