Much more than a childminder
Our eldest daughter spent a very happy couple of years with Jenny before she started primary school, so there was no doubt in our minds who we would like to care for our youngest. She has now been there for almost 3 years and looks forward to going every day. She knows that she will have fun while she is there and loves going on outings. She has made friends with the other children and has great fun playing with them.
We have noticed that she will continue at home with the things she has been learning that day, whether it is writing her name (her favourite thing at the moment), or her ‘maths homework’ as she likes to call it.
We look forward to the photos that are sent to us each day, showing what the children have been up to, where they have been and the things they have been learning. It gives us a real insight into the way that she spends her time during the day, and she is always smiling in them so she is obviously enjoying herself. Along with her learning journey, we can see how she has grown and developed in the time that she has spent with Jenny.
We couldn’t be happier with the level of care that she has received. We feel that being in such a positive and happy environment has helped her to develop her own personality and become the confident, outgoing little girl that she is. This shows from her point of view as well, as she genuinely misses Jenny when she is not there during the holidays, or for any other reason.
She often talks about Jenny and her family when she is at home - clearly she feels that they are among the most important people in her life, and that is a sentiment that is echoed by both of us.
She is starting nursery in September, and unfortunately this means that she will be leaving, although we hope that she will be able to come during the holidays where possible. We can’t thank Jenny enough for the time, effort and care that has been shown to both of our children over the past few years.
