Our daughter started at Michelle’s when she was 9 months old and stayed until we left the area when she was 3. We were quite nervous about finding a childminder who would understand her needs, as she experienced severe separation anxiety and would cry if put down for any period of time so needed to be carried for the majority of the day. In addition I was in the process of weaning off breastfeeding and nap times had been challenging.
However, I needn’t have worried - Michelle immediately made us feel reassured, and was able to respond to our daughter’s needs as well as communicate with us when there was a challenge. Michelle went above and beyond what we would ever have hoped for, and our daughter settled with her very quickly; we always felt confident leaving her with Michelle and she was welcomed like part of the family.

Michelle has now become a good friend, but has always remained extremely professional and communicative around and changes or issues which may have arisen. In addition, her home is welcoming and spotless, with hundreds of clean and well-organised toys for free play, and she has a great repertoire of songs and engaging activities.

Our experience of working with Michelle has been such a positive one - for us and our child - and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a childminder.
