Angie childminded my daughter from age 1 for two years. As she was my first child I was naturally a little nervous about leaving her with a "stranger" but as soon as I first visited Angie I felt she was absolutely the right person. Angie is an incredibly warm and lovely lady, and the children in her care were so well mannered it spoke volumes about the service she provides. They always made sure the kids had some fresh air or had got up to something fun during the day. My daughter got so much out of her time with Angie.
Angie and Harriet were very flexible with my working hours and I always felt 100% confident leaving her. Angie always opened the door with a smile and provided a diary of what my daughter had been up to, which was lovely to read. Angie was also a huge help with keeping consistent with me during the potty training phase!
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Angie and Harriet to anyone looking for outstanding childcare in a warm, family environment. It is with regret I cannot use them for my son's childcare due to living too far away now, otherwise I wouldn't even need to think about who to call!

Hi Caroline,
Thank you for taking the time to write us both a wonderful review. It's really appreciated, and don't forget your welcome to visit anytime so the children can all meet up and have a play day.
Angie and Harriet xx
My little boy has been with Angie since he had just turned one from the first meeting with Angie we felt we were making the right decision by our little guy.
The first morning I left him I was very nervous but within an hour Angie had sent me a photo of my smiley little boy who looked so happy so I knew he was happy.
The children in Angie and Harriets care is first class and all the children love them and are made to feel part of The family. My little boys flourished both educationally and in all areas of his little character, he made lots of friends whilst there too (he has been there nearly 3 years).
The only reason we have had to say goodbye to Angie and Harriet (which was a very hard decision to make) is because our little guy is starting nursery out of the area. We know he will miss them both and their family, as well as us as presents will miss them too.
Thank You Angie and Harriet we will miss you but will keep in contact for play dates xxx

Angie has been our childminder for the last four years looking after my daughter and then my son as well for the last year.
When I first met Angie I knew she was the type of person I wanted to care for my children - caring but confident and no nonsense. She has not let me down.
About two years ago Harriet ("Hat" to the kids), Angie's youngest daughter, joined her in caring for the children and we have seen how competent and popular with the children she is too.
Angie has always responded well to our requests - for example managing when naps should or shouldn't be dropped; helping with potty training and has gone out of her way to pick up our daughter, who is at a different school to the other children in Angie's setting.
We are leaving Angie for practical reasons only (because she will no longer be able to do the school pick-up once my daughter is out of nursery.) We will miss her and Harriet greatly - but perhaps the best proof of her skills is that my children will really miss her too.
My 18 month old Son, Albert, has been attending Angie and Harriet's childminding service since March 2013 and he loves every minute he is there. He has always been a very outgoing and caring child with an inquisitive nature, but these social and emotional skills have been built upon through attending this group.
The daily routines and activities challenge and develop Albert socially, emotionally and cognitively supporting his development into a lovely and happy little chap.
At Angie and Harriet's there is a caring environment that allows Albert to play and grow happily and safely. Any requests made by myself or my husband with regards to routine, activities, diet or even health issues, are taken on board and respected.
With neither myself nor my husband having family in the area, it is also very reassuring that we can, and have turned to Angie and Harriet for support at times when I have been taken ill.
The nurturing nature of both Angie and Harriet, combined with their friendly yet professional approach, really does make for an ideal environment for a little person to be looked after. We definitely have no complaints and won't think twice about sending our new arrival to the group.
