Childminder for 1 year

There are not enough words to describe how truly wonderful, caring and brilliant Donna is and if there were then there's not enough room in this box to write them all. Donna has cared for my son for 1 year now. When my Son first went to Donna he was very attached to myself, shy and hadn't socialised very much with other children. Looking back now I can't believe how much Donna has helped him become the confident, Intelligent and funny little boy he is today. Donna has cared for him as she would her own son which is exactly how I would. My Son has progressed so much in all areas since being with Donna, he has socialised with other children also in her care and at play groups, he's brilliant with colours and numbers and he has a very wide vocabulary. I have no doubt that Donna will continue to make a big impact on many children's lives as she is brilliant at what she does, she has such a strong connection with all the children and really has helped to bring out the best version of my son. I'm devastated we are no longer in Alton (despite looking for jobs and houses in the hopes he could keep going to Donna). Donna I cannot thank you enough for being the most kind, caring and warm person to ensure the transition was as smooth as possible. We're so lucky to have found you and you'll always have a special place in our hearts. Thank you so so much and if anyone is looking at Donna's profile then I really hope you're lucky enough to have found some availability in her schedule as she's truly wonderful and you'll have no regrets about leaving your children in her care.

Outstanding throughout ❤️

My daughter started staying at Donna’s in April 2022. She was 1,5 yo so still very mummy dependent and fragile. Beginnings were not easy as she refused to eat for the first few days and was missing me a lot but thanks to Donna and only because of her we all managed to survive this. Every day my little girl became more and more confident under Donna’s care. My daughter was always supported, reassured, respected, listened. All her needs and wishes were taken under consideration. Donna treated her exactly the same way I would, which gave me comfort and reassurance so I could focus on work. Month after month Donna, my daughter and Donna’s son were getting closer and grew an amazing bond. My little girl started to feel at Donna’s like at second home and there were days when she refused to leave saying that Donna is more fun! 😅 I was extremely happy with how they spent their time together. I loved that they were outside almost every day, that they attended play groups so my child is not scared of new people and places, they did all the dirty arts and crafts you don’t always want to do at home, they celebrated special occasions, learned numbers, colours, nursery rhymes, read books.. the list is endless. Donna was amazing with keeping my girl calm and comfortable in difficult situations when she all of the sudden had fever or was sick. Amazing communication with me and my husband. We received hundreds of absolutely beautiful pictures. Every day at pickup time Donna gave me a brief handover so I knew what they were up to and how my child was. Donna also writes a child diary where she documents all achievements and child development. To sum this up. I couldn’t been happier and more grateful to Donna for all she did for my little girl. Thank you so so much Donna xxx ❤️
