Having found Katie, I'm hoping she will stay around a lot longer! Both children (4 month old and nearly 3 year old) took to Katie instantly. Our toddler generally makes a fuss at bedtime, but Katie put her to bed happy with no trouble at all. The baby is still somewhat temperamental during the evening and Katie managed to calm and settle him for the night.
With Katie's experience and professional manner I had no concerns leaving the children with her for the evening. I feel relaxed that my partner and I can now Enjoy the odd evening together, knowing the children are in safe hands.

We are visitors to Cardiff and Katie looked after our kids at the last minute. Made it easy for us to relax and enjoy a night out. I can recommend her and will use her again if needed. Thanks Katie!

Katie has been our nanny since August 2012. She has been with us since our eldest two children were 3 and 1. We now have children of 8 (boy), 5 (girl) and 3 (girl).
Katie has been a highly professional and reliable nanny throughout that period. She has adapted well as the children have grown. She has enabled us to go to work confident that our children are happy, safe and secure.
She was also a tremendous asset during my final maternity leave. She was excellent with both the new baby and the eldest two during a time of change, and a pleasure to work alongside.
Our children took to Katie from the start. She is very child-focused in her approach and creates a calm, happy and fun environment.
Katie has been a key part of our lives for nearly five years. We are sad as our youngest prepares to go to school in September and Katie leaves us.

Katie worked for me for nearly four years. I have three very active boys. She was fabulous with my youngest who was only 8months old at the time. She was also excellent at looking after the two older boys from the ages of five and six up until they were nine and ten. She was fun , sensible and honest.
She was flexible and nothing was too much trouble. As the children grew older and started nursery, she adapted her role to help with other tasks around the home to make my life easier, for the few hours that she had until they needed collecting again. She enabled me to return to work and juggle a demanding job and a busy home life. I never worried about the boys from the moment I left the house in the morning. She only ever contacted me at work when it was truly necessary. In the holidays she entertained them with picnics and trips suitable for all three of them. They didn't ever remember a time when she hadn't been part of our family and we are still in touch now. She genuinely cares for the children she looks after. When my youngest started school I only needed a nanny for the school drop off and pick up and so sadly katie had to leave us. We all missed her when she left.

Katie has worked with us just over a year now. My six year old is a tough nut to crack but Katie won her over and my one year old ( now two) took to Katie from the start. We recently moved areas and Katie has been flexible, adapting well to the changes and even helping the children to settle into their new area and meet new friends. Katie has found some lovely local play groups for my two year old and always finds creative and fun activities with both the children during school holidays. Katie has helped us out with last minute changes to pick up/ drop off arrangements with swimming lessons etc. Katie has the knack for getting our two year old to sit and eat at meal times, something we haven't mastered ourselves yet! Katie also prepares the children's meals.
Changes in our circumstances ( mainly me taking a career break) has lead us to the tough decision to let Katie go. The children will really miss Katie, as will I, and I hope we stay in touch. I will definitely be calling on Katie when we need a babysitter!
