My Summary

My Experience

I have two years experience working at Martyrs Green Montessori Nursery in Ockham (now red balloon) as a Nursery Assistant and absolutely loved my time there. I really enjoy the Montessori way of teaching and have a a vast array of activities implementing this! I was in charge of keeping children happy, safe and stimulated and implementing EYFS into their day to day activities. I am confident with caring for multiple children unassisted whilst planning fine-motor, age appropriate and outdoor activities. I am experienced with newborns and children up to the age of 16.

I spent one year (whilst living in Glasgow) working as a fully time nanny for a 6 year old and 9 year old who were both home schooled throughout lockdown so I supported with all learning and keeping busy and entertained with minimal resources other than the outdoors!

I have younger siblings who I absolutely adore and help care for. I take great pride in cooking and I love being in the kitchen making healthy nutritious meals. I will be looking to do additional learning towards a nutrition/ sports science degree in my spare time as this is something I am really interested about. I am super tidy and clean and love to keep fit and healthy. I really enjoy the outdoors, and love london for all the beautiful parks there are locally! I am a really happy, full of energy and caring individual and would best suit a happy, easy going and fun home where I can fully support the family and help with almost anything to help out!

I have spent the 18 months working for a recruitment company in the city to support my move to London - which I thoroughly enjoyed but I quickly realised the corporate life just isn’t that me! I am really excited for this new adventure and to becoming part of my future nanny family!

I live with my partner (who owns his own recruitment company in London also!) in Battersea, I drive and have a car I have access to.

I have a wealth of experience within the hospitality industry and have advanced computer skills and a well spoken telephone manner so i can also assist with PA duties.

My Qualifications

I am a unqualified Nursery assistant (2 years experience) but I have a a high school education - strong maths and English skills so more than capable to help out with homework.
Other qualifications include:
First aid (which has just expired but happy to update- although I am very confident with Childrens first aid due to my previous training)

I am in the middle of getting a new updated DBS so this can be provided quickly.
