About Me

Hello! My name is Rebekah and I am a 22 year old student looking for part time experience minding children. I love working with children and have plenty of experience through my university degree and extra-curriculars.

My Experience

I am in my final year of the BEd Primary Teaching degree at Stranmillis.

I have completed a Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Studies. As part of my degree, I carried out placement in a primary school two days a week. I worked as a classroom assistant in a Primary 1 and Primary 2 classroom. In the classroom, I worked one on one with pupils and help them with their work, lead small groups of children in activities and also helped at before and after-school clubs.

Camp Leader : For 7 years I have been a leader at a CEF camp in Kilkeel. I help to supervise children from the ages of 8 - 13. My role also includes delivering lessons and quizzes for the children.

Sunday School: I am part of a team that leads the Sunday school in my church. Some of my roles
include telling the story, carrying out the quiz, teaching the memory verse or leading the worship.

My Qualifications

I have completed the Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Studies at Stranmillis, qualifying me to work with children from the ages of 0-8.
