My name is Sarah and I am 55 years old. I am a mother of 3 grown up children and have recently become a Grandma. My daughter is going back to work in September and I am going to help with childcare so need more flexible working hours. I love working with children so I have decided to become a Nanny.
My Experience
I have worked in Primary schools for 19 years, first as a Learning Support Assistant supporting children with SEND. I then worked as a Teaching Assistant and finally as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant. I also taught French to KS2 children for about 13 years, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I have worked across the school from Year 1 to Year 6 so have a great deal of experience with primary school age children. I have good behaviour management skills and will be able to help children with homework tasks. I have run Lunchtime art clubs and enjoy doing fun activities with children.
I have recently completed a 2 day Paediatric First Aid Course and have a DBS check.
My Qualifications
I have a degree in Applied Language Studies and a Level 3 NVQ in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.
My Availability
I am available for school pick-ups and after school care on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from September and during the day on a Monday and Tuesday.
