About Me
Hello my name is Stacey and I am 34 years old. I am a fully qualified and registered childminder, living at home with my son and our very friendly cat. I decided to work with children as supporting them to grow and develop to their full potential has always been a passion of mine. I am a positive, caring and child-centred person. I understand that all children and families have different needs, and I will support this so that all children I care for thrive.
I offer a open planned space and safe garden, that children can develop through free play. Activity’s are planned around the children, as children learn and develop best through their own needs and interests. I also offer healthy home cooked meals that I will encourage the children to help prepare. This supports the children in all development areas and offers great opportunity to learn life skills.
I have set up my home with loose parts and wooden only toys, that are safer and allows children to be more creative and offers more opportunity for imagination development.
I am a member with baby days, that allows parents to keep track of their child’s learning and development through apps and websites.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
My fees are £6.50 an hour.
My prices include breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. This also includes outdoor activity’s and covers the open ended play experiences I offer to the children in my home.

We have had my 30 month old son with Stacey for the last 10 months, since February 2022. Stacey is a brilliant childminder, she is patient, caring and has created the most wonderful environment for the children in her setting. My son is very happy, he settled quickly and I know he is safe and secure in Stacey's care. Stacey has created a varied schedule for the week with plenty of time spent exploring the local parks, Edinburgh Zoo and ensures the children are involved with preparing and cooking their meals. We have been and continue to be highly impressed and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Stacey to other parents!
