About Me
My name is Chloe, I have a four year old and four month old. I have 11 years experience in childcare settings. I love seeing children learn and develop with mine and parents/guardians combined efforts.
I am offering spaces for 1-8 year old's.
I also accept the government funding for two and three year olds.
I hold all relevant training and checks, which can be viewed in my setting.
Price includes breakfast, morning and afternoon snacks, cooked lunch and cooked tea.
My Experience
i have worked as a nursery practitioner and deputy manager for 8 years in private day nurseries.
I have had plenty of experience with children's education, planning, settling and for children with SEND (Autism, speech delay, global delay, behavior management.)
I have experience of dealing with parents input, concerns, and and have always worked with parents for the best interest of their child. As well as giving advice/techniques if parents/guardians have asked for it.
I have settled new children, completed learning journals and individual planning for my key group. I am used to having 10-16 key children whilst working in nurseries.
When parents/guardians have asked me to work on a certain area/learning objective, i have put their ideas into their child's planning.
With children who have a Special Educational Need or Disability, i have worked with parents and multi agencies to provide the most effective and nurturing environment for each child based on their need or disability. I have put together Individual Education Plans to try and meet set goals, using resources and activities.
My Qualifications
I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Studies, from Roehampton University. This was gained in 2012, I have worked in childcare continuously since. This is equivalent to a level 6 in childcare, the highest level you can achieve.

I am so glad I found Chloe, she is very professional and a kind childminder. I love reading the reports she hands me when I collect my nearly 4 year old boy. She has a brilliant setup and all Ofsted checked. Chloe is giving our boy the best start in his life, he learns through play, counting, phonics and still gets the TLC of a mother in a homely environment. Chloe provides food all day for my son. She changes his clothes if he has wet socks or clothes. I am late collecting him some days (I'm bad at time keeping) she never rings me to chase where I am and never charges me either. I am forever grateful as I work days my son is with Chloe. I am keeping all the reports for when my boy is older to read what he got up to at Chloe's.

Chloe is an exceptional childminder, both professional and nurturing, I was lucky to have found her when I did!
I was Chloe’s first client after she left her career as a nursery manager following the birth of her first son Henry and she wanted to care for him and decided to go out on her own. I contacted so many childminders and went to one who was highly recommended but was a complete cash cow (will not name names!) but to the point that my 5 month old was not feeding, hair found in nappies when they got home, and she did impressions of my 18 month old in front of her which I found devastating and very passive aggressive! Chloe immediately put me at ease and her home is exactly that! A home! Clean, well set out for play and she kept me involved throughout the day to reassure me both girls were happy! I’ve had 3 very happy years with Chloe, and due to a change of my circumstances, we no longer require that full time care, but my girls love her as do me and my husband, and she will always remain a strong family friend as she gave our DD’s the best start! They now go to St Swithun Wells and the nursery could not get over how both of them were so good at their phonics and maths! I wish I could say that was down to me, but I work long hours and so I am eternally grateful to Chloe for the effort she put in!
It saddens me that people may be put off by reading a review that is completely unfounded all because Chloe could not accommodate this persons needs. It’s selfish and completely unjustified! I am happy to share my number and demonstrate from photos and the link books I’ve kept over the years at how thorough Chloe is with her care! Given the hours I do and my journey I was often late collecting my DD’s and never once did Chloe charge me the extra or complain. Instead I always tried to make the time back with her to account for it, so hope this gives any potential parents seeking a childminder confidence that it is more than just a business for Chloe and she provides a secure haven for our families which should be every parents wish!
Thoughtless and unnecessary reviews are potentially damaging! But I hope that other childminders see potential clients reviews so they know what they’re getting in to! Whilst it’s important for us to find a good childminder it’s also important to respect the good ones out there and the amazing job they do! My two are a great example for Chloe’s hard work! Hence what prompted my review which admittedly I should have done before now!

I contacted Chloe as I was looking for a very tricky offering (someone who could offer childminding in the holidays, in addition to late evenings and weekends). Although Chloe was not able to meet my (near-impossible) requirements, she was patient and thorough in her responses. She offered guidance and advice, even reaching out to her network to see if there was another childminder who would suit. She was professional and courteous throughout. She responded promptly and professionally.

Chloe is a brilliant Childminder with a lots of passion and enthusiasm.
I removed my baby from a nursery setting last November she was 17months old and had been in the nursery from the age of 6months.
I viewed several childminders and was very anxious about what was best for my baby. Chloe instantly made me feel happy, comfortable and sure that choosing her was the best option.
My now toddler is doing amazing and absolutely adores Chloe. She is nearly 2 half and has a fantastic personality and is super clever. Chloe’s work is so great and my daughter tells me so much as well as having her daily log in a link book.
If you are looking for a lovely caring and professional Childminder then Chloe is your lady. My daughter is very happy and is always excited in the morning to go.

I made an enquiry about putting my child with a childminder two mornings a week. The messages that I got back from Chloe were very cold and impersonal. There was no addressing my name in the message, she just sounded too clinical , straight in ,all about business and money.
She commented that she needed 20 hours a week “as it’s just not worth my while”. Not the sort of response you want to hear from someone that is going to potentially look after your baby!
Maybe it was a blessing in disguise.

Hello Livy,
As this is my income I have to think about what would be best for me personally as this is my money and my business. I have 1 full time space left and every childminder I kmow has a set minimum hours. As 10 hours versus 45 hours a week is a big gap.
I have 3 very happy parents, whom have all taken their children out of previous childminders and have been with me for 3 years and 1 year.
I have 3 parents that have happily recommend me to others.
