About Me
We are a family of four living in Brockley (near the train station). 2 parents, 2 children (boy aged 7 and girl aged 3). The children go to our local nursery and primary school from 9-3.30. Our eldest has various after school activities. We have a happy home, and the kids are lucky enough to have a big garden and their own playroom. Both parents work full time and each day one of us is usually working from home (out of the way in our home office).
My Requirements
Days and Hours:
Monday to Thursday from 2pm to 6pm, Friday from 1pm - 5pm. Candidate must be flexible on babysitting during the week when required (usually around 5 hrs per week agreed on weekly basis).
Candidate will be required to work full time (roughly 10 hrs per day) for 6 weeks during the school holidays.
Duties:
- Looking after the kids, making sure they’re safe and happy
- Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
- Helping with homework and reading
- Dropping off and picking up from after school clubs (a drivers license would be preferred)
- Keeping the house clean and tidy (including suggesting where our lovely cleaner spends her few hours per week)
- Laundry
Who we’re looking for:

- Flexibility to pick up extra hours in the evening (we often work late or one of us is travelling with work)
- A positive and proactive outlook
- Someone looking for a long-term role. We’d love someone who could be with us for the next 5-10 years
