Outstanding childcare :-)
Tara has been looking after our son Liam since January when he was just 9 months old. We have been thoroughly pleased with the level of care that she has offered him. She treats him as one of her own, showing him love and affection and generally being incredibly nurturing. It has been a great reassurance to us to leave our son with someone who is so kind hearted and caring.
Tara has really helped Liam to come on in leaps and bounds with his development. She is always thinking up new things to do; whether it be trips to feed the ducks, visiting the farm, seeing the animals at pets at home, playing at the park or general fun around the house. I know that Liam has enjoyed arts and crafts activities, storytime, musical activities and a whole host of other exciting and engaging experiences during his time with Tara. The level of thought and consideration put into mothers and fathers day crafts is really something else.
When we first decided to place Liam in Tara’s care, we were a little anxious of the dogs. I, myself, am not a dog lover and have always been a little nervy around them. We really needn’t have worried. Liam absolutely loves Tinkerbell and Rodney and being around them has helped to stop him from developing mummy’s dog phobia! In fact he has developed a great love of animals and I think the dogs are at least in part to thank for that ?
One of the most wonderful things about Tara is the level of communication that you receive as a parent. Not only does she keep a daily journal to show you what your little one has been getting up to but she also sends text updates and photos when she catches wow moments. When you’re at work and just wondering how the little ones are getting on, this is a really nice touch and I know that it has kept me going on some of the tougher days when I’d really rather have been at home with my baby! In addition to this, Tara is incredibly welcoming when you enter her home. You never feel rushed out as she always makes the time to talk to you about the days events. Having said that if you are in a rush, she doesn’t make you stay to chat. The level of communication is really tailored to suit your needs……I just like a lot!
We are really sad that Liam won’t be going to Tara anymore but the addition of a new member to the family means that he can be at home with his mummy and being elsewhere is just simply not financially viable. We wholeheartedly recommend Tara to anyone who is looking for someone to genuinely care about their child and his/her development. We will certainly be coming straight back to Tara when I am ready to return to work again.
