My Requirements

An ideal nanny would provide lots of stimulating play, plenty of reading and singing, ample cuddles, excursions to parks and baby classes, and great healthy meals. We appreciate Montesorri-style learning and gentle caregiving approaches. We would benefit from a nanny who can structure days and support sleep routines for the twins.

For Mum, it is particularly important that our nanny is open to working in both sole and shared care as when working from home for some weekdays, Mum likes to spend time with the children where possible. A nanny who is focused on sole charge only would not be a match for our household.

There are possible occasional opportunities for travel with our family, though it is not a requisite to apply. English proficiency please. A driver is not required.

The Role:
-Primary responsibility for the care of 8-month-old twins, including feeding, changing, napping schedules, and age-appropriate developmental activities.

-Daily pick-up of 3-year-old from nursery during term time and engaging them in after-school activities such as arts and crafts, outdoor play, and educational games

-Preparation and implementation of structured daily routines that accommodate all three children's schedules

-Planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks, with special attention to the twins' weaning process and the 3-year-old's dietary needs

-Organising and supervising playdates as needed

-Maintaining a clean and organised nursery environment, including washing and organising children's clothes, and keeping play areas tidy

-Facilitating age-appropriate developmental activities for all three children, such as crawling and early language for the twins and educational activities for the toddler

-Keeping detailed daily logs of the twins' feeding, sleeping, and changing schedules, and communicating regularly with parents about all children's development and activities

-Ensuring all three children's safety and well-being at all times

-Working within a busy family home being flexible as needed to work around changing schedules

-Creating fun and stimulating games and activities in the home for the children

-Supporting these little ones to navigate the world with enthusiasm, kindness and confidence.

The Person:
-Strong experience working with children under 5, including proven track record of managing multiple children of different ages

-Calm, patient and nurturing personality with the ability to remain composed in challenging situations

-Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain clear, professional boundaries with employers

-Highly organised with strong time management skills to juggle multiple schedules and routines

-Energetic and creative approach to childcare, with the ability to plan engaging activities

-Absolute discretion and professionalism regarding family matters and privacy

-Strong understanding of child development stages and age-appropriate activities

-Proactive problem-solver who can think on their feet and adapt to changing situations

-First aid certified with thorough understanding of child safety practices

-Reliable and punctual with excellent references from previous employers

-Positive attitude and warm personality that helps create a happy, nurturing environment

-Up to date DBS check and Right to Work in the UK
