Our little D has been with Lisa since I returned to work when she was 11months. I Contemplated returning to work because as a shift worker many nurseries were unable to offer flexible hours. It caused a great deal of stress. It was a big adjustment attempting to continue breast feeding, balancing my job and time with family & childcare needs at the start with very little support elsewhere. Lisa provided much support with this transition with settling in periods and having me visit during normal working hours to gauge what D will likely to be doing during the day. All the children in her care were happy & relaxed all united with each other.

It was apparent right from the first meeting that Lisa showed genuine pleasure in the company of our D/children. Her strengths are that she has a gentle respectful approach. The simplicity of her home environment makes it a natural, peaceful & a calm space for the children, it doesn’t feel overwhelming which was the comparison to other busy settings we visited. Lisa is very passionate about free play it is evident by how she has designed her outdoor space! The nature walks & our-door adventures are favoured over organised activities, she foster’s creativity, self reliance and happiness which supports our free spirited D!
