Total confidence in Gabby
Our son started under Gabby’s care when he was just under a year old and is still with her now, three-and-a-half years later.
We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Gabby 100%. She is such a lovely, warm and caring person and is clearly passionate about working with young children. She is very friendly, communicative and easy-going, all the while remaining thoroughly professional and dedicated to her work.
The amount of effort Gabby and her assistant, Molly, put into creating a fun and stimulating learning environment for the children is very impressive: they organise a huge variety of activities, including cooking, crafting, art, soft play, dance and games. They also take the children out on lots of trips and adventures, including parks, playgrounds, nature rambles and local sights. In addition, Gabby and Molly have been preparing our son for starting school in September by helping him with his phonics, letter formation and basic arithmetic. Most importantly, the social skills he has developed at Gabby’s have been crucial to his development as a kind, considerate and communicative young person. Not forgetting the potty training!
On another note, Gabby provides delicious and varied home-cooked meals on a daily basis (our son eats with gusto everything she dishes up, which he doesn’t always do with our cooking!). We also really appreciate Gabby sending us at least a couple of photos every day to show us what our son is up to. It’s always evident from these snapshots that he’s enjoying himself and is constructively engaged in whatever activity is underway.
We have been exceptionally happy with the way our son has flourished under Gabby’s care over the years - her childcare setting has been incredibly nurturing and beneficial for him. We are so glad that we found Gabby and that our son has got to spend his first, formative years with her and Molly. It has been the best possible start for him.
He will really miss Gabby and Molly when the time comes for him to leave and for Gabby to relocate her business to Essex. But Chatham’s loss will be Westcliffe-on-Sea’s gain!
