My Experience
Becoming a nanny wasn't a decision I made lightly; it was a calling that evolved from my love for children and my desire to have a meaningful impact on their lives. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of working with various families, each with their own unique dynamics and challenges.
I have had the pleasure of caring for a child since he was just 5 months old, and he will turn 3 this November. This experience has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the unique needs and developmental milestones of infants and toddlers. I have created a nurturing environment that promotes sensory exploration and encourages early cognitive and social skills. Through engaging activities tailored to his age, I’ve fostered his curiosity and independence while ensuring a safe and stimulating atmosphere. Watching him grow and reach new milestones has been incredibly rewarding, and I look forward to continuing to support his development as he approaches this exciting new chapter.
I have also been caring for a toddler since he was 18 months old, and he is now 2 and a half years old. This journey has been incredibly rewarding as I have witnessed his rapid growth and development. During this time, I have focused on creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning through play. Engaging him in age-appropriate activities has helped enhance his language skills, social interactions, and motor development. I take joy in watching him reach new milestones, and I am committed to supporting his curiosity and creativity as he continues to grow.
The relationships I built extended beyond the children. I often found myself bonding with parents over shared experiences, frustrations, and triumphs. Many families became like a second family to me, and I was invited to birthdays, holidays, and milestones.
As I reflect on my experience as a nanny, I realize it has shaped me profoundly. I've learned to be more compassionate, adaptable, and resilient. The laughter and joy of the children have enriched my life in ways I never anticipated. B.A Honours degree in Education Studies with a first class dissertation in Speech and Global delay.
Higher Level Speech and Language Course
Completed an advanced course in speech and language development, enhancing my ability to support children's communication skills effectively.
Nuffield Early Language Intervention (NELI) Course.
Successfully completed and implemented the Nuffield Early Language Intervention program, focusing on improving language and communication skills for young children. This experience equipped me with strategies to foster language development in early learners.
Paediatric First Aid Course
Completed a comprehensive Paediatric First Aid course, equipping me with the skills to respond effectively to medical emergencies involving children.
DBS Checked
Enhanced safety credentials with an up-to-date DBS check, ensuring a thorough background verification for working with children.
My Availability
I will be available from February 2025. I can also be available on Wednesday for immediate start.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
- Nannying from £16.00 per hour (net)
My fee includes 4 weeks of holiday pay. which mean that you wont have to pay for holidays up to four weeks.

I’m not even sure how to begin to express my gratitude to Aani. She started looking after our son when he was 18 months old and has been with him 2 days a week for coming on a year.
She has been an angel for our family, she’s been so kind and lovely to our son and he absolutely loves his days with her. She’s also been brilliant for his development and in particular his speech (his vocabulary is now rather impressive for a toddler). As far as routine, she’d come in the morning and make his lunch and then they’d spend the day out together (she impressively taught him how to sleep in his pram). If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, reliable, loving and warm to look after your child I would look no further. She is fantastic and has exceeded all of our expectations.

Aani is the most wonderful Nanny. She looked after our children after school and built a loving and caring bond with them. Aani is reliable and responsible and never let us down. The kids loved being with Aani and always have big hugs and smiles when they see her. I would highly recommend Aani.
