About Me

Hi lovely families,

My name is Laura and I live in Frindsbury, Strood with my partner Billy, our bearded dragon Carl, and Cody my step son who visits during the school holidays. We decided to open our home to families in need of childcare to ignite children's passion for learning.

I have registered with UK's fastest growing childminding agency who are Ofsted registered. They offer support, training and my setting is quality assessed each year.

Outdoor play and connecting with nature is an important part of our day to day activities. We will spend time exploring the local park, nature walks and trips to the library. With a spacious back garden, children will be able to explore and discover in the mud kitchen, sand pit, water wall and much more.

The indoor environment is made up of purposeful invitations to play to extend children's learning through their interests. You will find loose parts, authentic resources, opportunities to create, build, role play and mark make all while building their communication, social and physical skills.

Meal times are communal, focusing on learning rituals and routines such as; preparing lunch and tea and setting the table. Children will learn about cultures through food and how to develop healthy habits.

Predominantly plant based* meals are offered, breakfast, hot lunch and picnic plates for tea along with 2 snacks. Fresh water and milk is accessible throughout the day.

Dietary needs can be met. We are a nut household and therefore cannot guarantee a nut free environment.

Rest is rocket fuel, children will have access to cosy spaces and opportunities to reflect on their day. Gratitude and yoga sessions are a vital part of our daily routines.
