We moved my son to Ivy meadow after months of trying to get him to settle at a nursery which was very upsetting and stressful for both me and my little boy. From day one of dropping him with Lucy there were no tears upon leaving him, he just fit straight in. It really is like a home from home, the children are so well cared for and the setting is lovely. Lucy makes a really effort to learn the children’s likes and interests. All of the children and staff have such lovely bonds, it’s like leaving your child with family members. My little boy was just as excited to be dropped off as he was to be picked up, you are always greeted with a lovely welcome in the morning. We also used Ivy Meadow over the summer for my elder daughter who was usually attends a schools out setting. Once she’d been she kept asking if she could go back. I highly recommend Lucy and Ivy meadow, It’s a lovely childcare setting.
