I have hired Helena before Christmas and agreed she would do two 6 hour shifts for me while I work from home as well before I quit my nursery place for my baby.
She had arrived 5minuted late on day one with no txt ahead. She was nice but a little quite with my son while they were in his play room I put this down to nerves and being her first day, tho she was very chatty with me.
I have changed my sons happy myself as he is a wriggled, and she has offered to make him lunch and clean up I said not to worry I would do this, I wanted her to concentrate on my son. She then asked if she can leave off at 12.45 instead of 2 because she wanted to give her family member a lift. To which I said no I can’t really do that as I was busy working and my son needed attending to as he is only 14months. She has stayed. But the following morning 10 minutes before she was due to arrive she had txted to say she gonna be at least 30mins late, then it turned into a flat tyre 45minutes later, and then just before 2 she has txted me that she is quitting because she likes the be the one in charge, but she has some other nanny that can start straight away in her place. Based on this I have had to consider our contract null and void. I have at no point instruct her to do or not to do anything, we have discussed that I will singe her up to go to baby classes with my son and that yheu can go to nearby parks once they are more familiar with each other. Needless to say to I am now without childcare and can not work because of an irresponsible girl who changed her mind.
