Hi, I’m Lyndsey Brown, a 26-year-old from Girvan in South Ayrshire. I’m an organised, enthusiastic and dedicated individual with strong interpersonal skills. I enjoy hitting the gym, where I focus on weight lifting and spin classes. As a sociable person, I love spending time with family and friends, especially on weekends when I get to play with my nephews.
I graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2020 with an Honors degree in International Fashion Branding, earning a 2.1 award. Previously, I worked as an administration assistant in the department responsible for organising training for the Health and Social Care Partnership staff, which included public protection courses. I completed Child Protection Level 1 training and Adult Support and Protection Level 1, which deepened my understanding of these critical areas.
Through my experiences, I’ve discovered a strong passion for working with children and am eager to pursue a career in this field.
Most recently, I returned from an incredible three-month adventure in Australia, where I immersed myself in new cultures and experiences. This journey has further enhanced my adaptability and broadened my perspective.
My Experience
Professionalism is key in all my work, I understand the importance of confidentiality, especially from my experience growing up in a family of foster carers for the past 17 years. This has taught me how vital it is to protect the well-being of the children we care for.
For over three years, I’ve enjoyed babysitting kids aged 4, 6, and 8, managing everything from meals to school runs and overnight stays. I hold a full driving license and have a lively family life with six nephews ranging from 1 to 16 years old!
