I have been lucky enough to have Ali as my childminder for my lb since October 2012 when he was 10 months. Ali is brilliant - they are always doing activities that are fun, enjoyable and educational. She regularly takes the children to playgroups and soft play centres, so they mix with lots of children and at the end of every week, we get a book which tells us what lo has done each day, as well as a synopsis of his behaviour/ things he can do. This is followed up every year with what I call a 'memory book' - photos of our lo at Ali's, taking part in activities, along with comments about his development - it is really lovely and shows you how much your lo has developed in a short space of time. I cannot recommend Ali enough - she and her family are so warm and welcoming and she always has time for a quick chat. Her house is clean and tidy and super child-friendly - pictures that they've paited everywhere, plus things for them to point out and learn. They are always baking or making things & play outside whenever possible. Happy to be contacted to discuss if required.
