About Me
Hello
I am a qualified primary teacher and have recently moved to Westgate. I have three children and currently on maternity leave.
I have experience teaching all year groups end lots of experience with KS1 SATS and year 6 SATS.
I am friendly, caring and very patient. I have great relationships with the children I teach and will be looking to join a local school in the next year.
I have a degree in Primary Education, a Masters in Education and am currently studying towards a Doctorate.
As a child I was scared of Maths and this didn’t subside until my teaching degree. Now I love it! I have been a maths leader in school in Bexley, implementing new initiatives to engage children. I enjoy changing a child’s (or adult’s) perception of maths and make it fun and easy, I am happy to work with parents too to give some tips to help your child. I know how difficult it is to home-school (I have three) and especially when you can’t remember the strategies!
Before I go back to teaching full time I would like to help children close any gaps they’ve experienced in their learning. I teach all primary subjects!
