Excellent childcare
I have a 14 month old baby boy who has been looked after by Kiya for almost four months. When I went back to work I placed him in a nursery that was rated as outstanding by Ofsted. Although the staff were very good with the children I found that a nursery environment did not suit us for various reasons. My son is very inquisitive and needs a lot of close supervision. He was always coming home with a bump of his head! Also, the nursery nutrition was not as good as I expected and Williams daily report always stated that he had not eaten his meals or finished his bottles. He was also always sick which cost me a lot of leave days!
I was always worried about my son when I was at work - and I was worried that my work would be effected by this. We decided to look for alternative childcare and starte dto visit different childminders. We met some lovely people but no-one seemed to offer the type of childcare that we were looking for. We wanted our son to be in an environemnt that had the structure and educational aspects of a nursery but in a smaller, more homely environement. We had just about given up hope when we found Kiya.
I was very impressed with Kiya when I first met her. She was very well presented, professional and immediately started to interact with my son. Her kind and fun personality appealed to my son immediately and they seemed to hit it off quickly. He loves going to Kiya and always comes home smiling and chatting. She takes him to the park a lot, which he loves and her passion for children really shows in the way she interacts and plays with him. He has learnt a lot from Kiya in the time she has looked after him. No more head bumps and he always finishes his bottles and food - because Kiya takes the time to ensure he does.
Another plus is that I now have piece of mind that my son is in a safe and nurturing environment and that Kiya really cares about his well being. She is intelligent, kind, fun, friendly and has loads of common sense. I don't hesitate to leave him in her care and cannot recommend her highly enough. Her fees are also very reasonable and offer great value for money. She is very flexible and has often helped me out at the last minute. If I hadn't met Kiya when I did I would undoubtedly have had to give up work to look after my son.
