Our little boy was with Lesley from 1-2.5 years. He loved going to Lesley and Anittha’s and every time he came back, I noticed he had learnt a new word, phrase or song. It’s such a lovely environment and a great stepping stone for those who want/need a bridge between home and going to nursery. Lesley and Anittha are extremely thoughtful and would always celebrate birthdays and mark holidays with pictures and crafting. A really lovely home away from home.

My daughter was with Lesley from 9 months to 2 years and during that time she really flourished from a nervous Covid baby into a confident little person with lots of friends and interests. She always loved going in to Lesley’s house and we saw it like a little family, where she was lovingly cared for. Lesley is really good at marking birthdays and cultural festivities, decorating the house to make these events feel special and having different activities to mark the seasons. She’s been very accommodating to us as working parents, offering long hours where needed. Highly recommend!

I sent my eldest daughter to Lesley & Anita's and was blown away by how happy all the children are and how confident they are. I've also sent my second. They've both loved it! And my eldest didn't want to leave.
Both have incredible speech, confidence and lots of fun with their friends all day. They also love Lesley's cooking and actually eat it!
My favourite thing about Lesley's is how happy all the children are and how much they genuinely care about them all and how loved they all feel.
I've felt really safe and confident about sending them both there which I know can be difficult for new mums approaching childcare options.
If I have more children I will definitely send them here.

We have been so happy taking our son to Lesley's over the last two years and feel very lucky to have found such a brilliant setting for him. From the moment we first met Lesley and Anittha (who works with Lesley) we could just feel how much love and care they put in to their work, they really do go above and beyond to make sure the kids are happy, secure, and having a great experience - they all receive so much love.
Lesley's home setting is bright and warm, and our son also loves spending time in her the garden playing with the different activities that are set up every day. He has found some great friends during his time at Lesley's and there is also a very friendly atmosphere amongst the parent community which has helped us with arranging playdates etc outside of childcare hours too.
I couldn't recommend Lesley enough - it is a happy place, and for our us it feels like more than just a childcare setting but an extension of our home and family!

Our little boy spent a year and a half in Lesley and Anittha's care from 11 months to 2.5 years old. He absolutely thirved there! We knew that every time we dropped him off he'd be given loads of love, care and attention and he always came home happy after days playing in the garden, joining in with songs and other games all day long. The daily photos were such a source of joy - seeing our littlun so happy every day was amazing.
Our son is a sensitive little boy but he grew in confidence so much during his time with Lesley and we put this down to the loving atmosphere she creates. The predictable warmth, cuddles and calm nature of the carers allowed him to feel safe enough to open with other kids early on and as such, he developed great social skills - he loves meeting new people now and is a confident happy little guy! This is definitely in part down to Lesley supporting him to come out of his shell and play with other kids there. The focus was very clearly on his emotional wellbeing, and that made us feel as Lesley was more like a family member than a childminder.
Another huge plus was that Lesley supported our boy was his food issues - he has a number of allergies and some food aversion problems that developed as a result. Lesley and Anittha approached his issues with patience and professionalism and were an unwavering source of support for both our boy and us during a really difficult year. We genuinely don't know what we would have done without them. We learned so much from Lesley and cannot recommend her enough, she is a one of a kind with children and has an amazing ability to love every child who comes through her service.

I cannot recommend Lesley highly enough. Our son Grayson went here from when he was a year old until 2.5 and it’s just such a lovely homely environment which you just don’t get at a nursery. This is exactly what we wanted for our son.
Lesley and Anittha genuinely care for the children and it’s clear that it’s not just a job and they love what they do. They are reliable and flexible. They offer lovely, nutritious home cooked meals and healthy snacks. I always got photos and up-dates of what he was doing during the day. They spent a lot of time in the garden which was full of toys.
Overall I feel very lucky to have had them look after our son and the only reason we left was due to us leaving the area.

Our son has been with Lesley since he was 13 months old and over the last 2 years she has cared for him in the best possible way. Lesley has a welcoming home setting where the children are encouraged to do a variety of activities, both inside and out. On Mondays the children often go to Normanton playgroup which our son loves, and as she is not far from Mayow park the children often go there too. Overall our son has been very happy here and we couldn't recommend Lesley more highly.

After a very long search for the right child minder we were lucky to find Leslie. Even on the first visit to meet Leslie her care for the children was clear. The environment provides a real home from home atmosphere and what struck us was how well the children all interacted together. The children have a great play space and an outdoor area. Leslie keeps us updated on activities regularly so we can see that our little one is happy and cared for. The most important thing for us is that our little one is excited to go there and comes home happy each time he visits.

My daughter has been with Lesley for nearly two years and settled in wonderfully on her first day (when she was just 9 months old). My daughter absolutely loves it there and even asks to go to Lesley’s on the days she isn’t supposed to!
Lesley’s home and garden is a great environment for children with lots to learn and play with. My daughter is always coming home singing new songs and talking about the games she has played at Lesley’s. She sometimes comes home with pictures and paintings which is really lovely!
Lesley is really warm and friendly and I feel so lucky to have her looking after my daughter.
