The impact Cheryl has had on both of my children’s early development has been remarkable. With my eldest son, she played an instrumental role in helping him reach all key developmental milestones, nurturing his communication skills, confidence, and curiosity. Her thoughtful planning and engaging activities supported his learning across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage, ensuring he was more than ready—both emotionally and academically—to begin school. Thanks to her dedication, he made a seamless transition into the school environment.
Now, with my youngest son, I am once again seeing the same high-quality care and inspiring provision. He is thriving in her setting—developing strong social skills, growing in independence, and showing great enthusiasm for learning and play. It is clear that she continues to tailor her approach to meet the individual needs of each child, creating a calm, supportive, and enriching environment where the children feel secure and happy.
Cheryl’s professionalism, warmth, and genuine care for the children she looks after are truly exceptional. She communicates regularly and clearly, celebrates each child’s achievements, and works in close partnership with parents to ensure the best possible outcomes. Her setting is thoughtfully equipped and always evolving to provide new opportunities for learning and exploration.
As a parent, there is no greater reassurance than knowing your children are in the hands of someone who truly understands and cares for them. I am deeply grateful for the positive and lasting influence Cheryl has had (and continues to have) on both of my sons, and I believe she is an outstanding example of what early years childcare should be.

I am writing to offer my wholehearted recommendation for Cheryl, who has been caring for my son, Ethan, since September 2024. Transitioning from a nursery he had attended since he was four months old was a significant change for Ethan, and we were naturally apprehensive. However, Cheryl made the transition seamless with her warmth, professionalism, and exceptional dedication.
As a Deputy Head Teacher, I come from an educational background and have a thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. I can confidently say that Cheryl delivers this curriculum to an exceptionally high standard. Her provision supports all areas of learning and development, with particular strength in Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Communication and Language, and Understanding the World.
Since joining Cheryl’s setting, Ethan has made remarkable progress. His confidence and independence have grown significantly—he now approaches new activities with enthusiasm and is increasingly self-assured in social situations. Cheryl has supported his language development through rich conversations, storytelling, and songs, and we’ve noticed a marked improvement in his vocabulary and ability to express himself clearly. His fine motor skills have also developed through a variety of creative and practical activities, such as painting, threading, and baking.
Cheryl provides detailed and thoughtful daily feedback, both verbally and through Ethan’s development folder, which is a rich and well-organised record of his progress and experiences. It is clear that she carefully plans activities that are both developmentally appropriate and deeply engaging.
One of the most impressive aspects of Cheryl’s care is her commitment to enrichment. She regularly takes the children on adventurous outings and to a variety of activities that broaden their horizons and support their learning in real-world contexts. Whether it’s visits to local farms, museums, or nature walks, Cheryl ensures that learning is always exciting, meaningful, and memorable.
Importantly, Cheryl is also playing a key role in preparing Ethan for his transition to school
nursery this coming September. She is supporting him in developing the independence, confidence, and social skills he will need to thrive in a more structured setting. Her thoughtful approach is giving him the best possible foundation for this next step in his educational journey.
In short, Cheryl provides an outstanding standard of care and education. Her passion for early years development is evident in everything she does, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have her as part of Ethan’s life.

Cheryl had looked after our little girl for the last two years and I could not be happier with the service she has provided.
She has made my little one part of her family and she has loved every minute of her time spent there.
Cheryl is kind and gentle with the children but more than capable of handling the many tantrums my little one has thrown her way.
She has enjoyed many outings and I am always reassured by regular contact and photos I receive throughout the day.
If you are looking for reliable and caring childcare please do not hesitate to get in contact with Cheryl, I highly recommend her.
