Jean is a thoughtful and caring childminder. She looked after my two children for 18 months, one of them was 11 months old and one 3.5 years when she took them on. She makes a lot of effort to get to know the children and respond to them as individuals with different personalities and interests. Jean provides tasty, nutritious, home-cooked food for the children in her setting, and involves them in the cooking. Jean took my children to a great range of activities outside her setting, including groups, parks and museums. She also provided stimulating activities in her home. My children enjoyed being at Jean's setting and an affectionate relationship developed between them. Jean communicated well about all aspects of the children's development and routines when with her.
