Really lucky that we found Rainbow house childcare and they had space to let our daughter in. My daughter didn’t care well at the previous nursery, so we planned to change. Then my husband found Rainbow house on the childcare website. Really thankful Joanna and her team patiently look after her, so she used to this new environment in a short time.
Can feel that Jo really likes children not just take this as a job, this is important to us. Also, you can have a good communication with Jo. We know what she did today, how’s her eating and nappy.
My daughter had a great time and really enjoyed going to rainbow house. There’s different topic each week and has different fun activities each day. She has a big improvement during the time, such as knowing abc, nursery rhymes and a lot more.
Glad we met Jo in our hard time, and she tried her best to help us. Really recommend Rainbow House childcare.

We are very happy with Rainbow House for our almost 3 years old son. He started his journey with JoJo, when he was 1 year and 7 months. We joined after our not-super experience with a bigger nursery nearby. Where it was around 20 kids and we found out that he can sit quietly on a chair the entire day with no day nap/no involvement in games/interaction with other kids. We found that our son is more introvert, rather than extravert, and he needs to have more personal involvement.
So we started to search for a better place and found brilliant reviews for JoJo’s place (those reviews were true (imho)).
The Rainbow House is home like atmosphere place for up to 6 kids (if I am not mistaken). All our son’s needs are accommodated: JoJo and her assistant found a way to interact and involve him in all activities, managed to keep him happy and make friends. Also settling period was smooth and quick, so he stopped crying in the morning on 3rd or 4th day (which was a huge achievement for us). Also, JoJo managed to get him sleep for a day nap on his 1st full-time day, which was impressive after weeks of no-day-nap in the previous nursery.
Plus there are a lot of activities like everyday circle time, learning letters how to count all in game form, visits to nearby city farms/libraries/museums. I was impressed that my son when he was 2.5 years knows how colours world spelt.
For example last week they were learning about some Americas countries (Canada, USA, Chile) - those flags, animals, floras etc.
So we are very happy with Rainbow House.

We cannot recommend Joanna and Rainbow House enough! She is an excellent childminder. Our son was at Rainbow House from about 11 months to 3.5 years. He thrived in the small, home-like environment, with kind, attentive and truly caring adults. It feels like a big family! What is also nice is that her setting is clean, organized and characterful in a modern house with a small rear garden and access to a landscaped courtyard.
Joanna puts her heart and soul into the kids and their activities, and develops fantastic programmes and crafts each week to celebrate special days and special people. He always came home with fabulous creations that he was so proud of having done. As he grew, Joanna and her team supported us through walking and potty training. They taught him letters and sounds, and he learned to write his name. They also worked on numeracy and how to count, all great preparation for his next steps. Joanna is a great carer and educator.
A recent addition to their regular circle time was a sharing moment, which my son loved - he was able to talk about what he did at the weekend, all the while learning how to express himself, talk about the past and his interests, and listen to others.
We really appreciated his yearly written assessments that Joanna produced. They gave us a great overview of his development and mapped out next steps.
His big sister has also spent some days at Rainbow House, and enjoyed the calm atmosphere and activities.

I couldn't imagine a better place for my son and I am so grateful to Joanna and her team of wonderful, kind carers. My son joined Rainbow House at 11 months old at a time when he only wanted to be with his mum and dad. We did a gradual settling in and thanks to JoJos's patience and through various engaging activities and a lot of one to one time they built trust and a great relationship with him. My son loves going to Rainbow House and talks about Jojo and his friends constantly! They do perform miracles - he eats his lunch even on days when he eats nothing at home. At nap time he goes to sleep on his own (since his first full day) even though he has never done this at home once! After two months his vocabulary exploded with words and phrases. They are constantly doing fun activities- playing in the garden, messy play, arts and crafts - each week has a different theme. I would highly recommend Rainbow House, they have exceeded all my expectations. It's a truly magical, happy place!

Highly recommend Jo and her Rainbow House, our 3 year old spent a few days there during Easter Holidays and he immediately felt at home and excited to be there. Jo herself is very affable and we, as parents, felt very at peace with entrusting our child to her.

Our child has LOVED Rainbow House and has had an absolute blast there. JoJo and the team have created a wonderful and safe environment for children to grow and learn and we can't recommend it highly enough. We've never felt anxious or nervous about leaving our child there and only wish we'd known about it sooner. Thank you JoJo and team for such a wonderful experience. We will miss you so much!!

Jo is an amazing childminder who we will miss dearly. It was one of our hardest decisions when it came to making the choice to move - we knew we wouldn’t find anyone who could compare. Our daughter was with Jo from 10months to 2.5 years. She has developed so much and flourished under Jo’s care. Jo provides a range of learning opportunities and provides parents with continuous feedback and updates and learning reviews. My daughter has loved her time at Rainbow house and most importantly has had so much fun and made lovely friends.

My son attended Rainbow House for almost three years and I am so happy that I found it - as soon as I first looked around, I knew I wanted to sign him up straight away. Jo and the rest of the Rainbow House team are so welcoming and friendly, and it’s the perfect home from home setting. My son joined when he was almost a year old and interacting with children of different ages has been a massive advantage to his development - it has helped with his social, numeracy and literacy skills and he is now reading books that are aimed at children a couple of years older than he is. Jo is so dedicated to helping the children learn and every week they have a topic with related activities at the setting – some of these are current events such as Children In Need/Black History Month/Roald Dahl day, and others include learning about Space/Family/Road Safety. There are also fun themed days for the children to enjoy including fancy dress days and parties. In addition, Jo shares learning materials to help and encourage the children at home, and regularly shares updates and pictures of what they’ve been up to throughout the day. The individual care my son received really was outstanding and he always enjoyed telling me everything he’d been up to. We have just moved a couple of hours away so sadly he’s recently had to stop attending (although I joked with Jo that she should move with us!) We really miss her! I highly recommend Rainbow House – the bar has been set high and none of the other settings I visited came close.

I cannot rate Jojo and Rainbow House highly enough. I have been continuing to recommend her to parents who are looking for high quality, loving childcare. My daughter attended Rainbow House from age 1 to age 4 when she left to start reception. I couldn't have asked for a better childminder to guide her throughout those years in all areas -from walking and potty training to writing her first letters and numbers. It was clear from the moment I stepped in to visit the lovely space that Jojo is passionate about and talented in what she does. I visited around 8 childminders in the area when doing my research and Jojo really was the shining star of the bunch. I signed my daughter up immediately! Thank you for everything Jojo!

My little girl misses Jo and the Rainbow House family. Her start in Reception is testament to the work Jo and her team prepared her for. She was ready to learn and had really good starting points.
This is all because Jo had a good curriculum in place, she developed the whole child and built their confidence, and she made them feel safe and part of an extended family. Thank you, Jo!!!
