Children very happy, very safe and learning all th

Amanda and James are fantastic. Amanda gives 100% to looking after the kids. I don't know how she manages to do it but she quickly learns the personalities, mannerisms, likes and dislikes of each child she looks after. She keeps detailed information recorded; including on nappies, food and water consumed, habits and takes fantastic pictures and records the day for each child so the parents can see. She has bundles of energy and works hard even after the kids have gone home by writing up information and planning the days out, parks, walks along the beach, learning as they go.

James ( Amanda's husband and registered co-carer) is friendly and flexible, he has a very practical approach and makes the kids the obvious focus. Whilst Amanda is the primary caregiver, my son always goes to James for cuddles and he asks for 'ames' often. James always makes time for play and knows the individual personalities very well. He takes a back-seat when it comes to liaising with us demanding parents (which Amanda does expertly :-)) but he has a strong bond with the kids.

Amanda and James strike the right balance by keeping the parent informed and building 1-2-1 bonds. Confidentially is important to Amanda and James.   They are both extremely experienced, professional, caring, open and honest caregivers whom I feel extremely lucky to have looking after my 18mth old son and 5 year old ( during school holidays).

Amanda obviously knows her stuff and will listen to any concerns or observations and try to assist whether it be for potty training, strengthening motor skills, fussy eating or any issues that arise. They are extremely flexible and has been a lifesaver on more than one occasion by allowing a different time for drop off or pick up than agreed at short notice ( not sure this is a big deal...ask a primary school if you can pick you child up 30 mins after the bell goes).

Whilst working full time means I don't offer as much feedback on this excellent service as I should, I am happy to offer more information one-to-one should you have any questions please feel free to message me. I did do extensive research on Childminders before meeting with Amanda. Her Ofsted report was a well-deserved Outstanding and I am sure this will be repeated.

Awesome childminder.

Hi. My name is Katherine and last year I decided to take my 3 year old twins out of nursery and put them with a child minder. I was seriously dubious about doing this as my eldest son (now 14) had a child minder since the age of 6 months and I went through 3 child minders before I found the right one for him. So, as you can imagine, I had serious doubts.

I met Amanda 2 days after contacting her, and I knew if my (very fussy) daughter liked her, she was a winner. No word of a lie, Evangeline never took instantly to anyone, but Amanda opened the door to her home, spoke to Evangeline in such a loving way, she walked straight in! I knew then, I didn't need to look for anyone else.

I wasnt disappointed. Amanda has NEVER let me down. She has an outstanding ofsted report which is a given. My twins adore her and trust me, they test anyone, but Amanda has taught them so many goods qualities it's unreal in just the year she has looked after them.

If she dropped off to the school the twins are going to this year, I would keep her forever....

Amazing lady....and now a very good friend ?

We would just like to say how happy we are with our decision to send our 8 month old boy to Amanda. He has loved going to Amanda since day one and has never looked back. Amanda has developed a lovely bond with him and has helped him progress in so many ways. Personally, returning to work was quite a stressful time for me and Amanda made it so much easier, because my little boy not only settled in so well with her but because she took the time to support me too.
Amanda provides childcare that is unique to the child, free of judgement and expectations. She provides a listening ear and goes above and beyond for every child in her care.

We would highly recommend her to anybody seeking childcare in the Swale area. Thank you, Amanda for all your hard work and creating an environment where our child feels like it's home from home.

Wonderful

If you are looking for an honest, caring and nurturing Childminder then Amanda is the one who you should be calling. (I am slightly dissappointed I cannot rate her higher than "good" as she deserves more!)

She has looked after my daughter for around 8 months now and has been a wonderful influence on her. I found her at a time when I had just had a bad experience with another childminder and found her approach to be completely different.

She is always coming up with new and interesting ideas on how to teach the kids in a fun way and I am genuinely amazed as some of the things my daughter has learned from her.

Amandas home is kept immaculately clean (how with so many kids?), has a wonderful array of beautiful toys (the play kitchen has to be seen to be believed - I want one!) and is the "home from home" that I wanted for my daughter.

I would more than recommend Amanda to anyone who is nervous about leaving their little ones and returning to work as she will make them feel like part of her family and keep them too busy to notice that Mummy & Daddy are not there.

Overall I cannot fault Amanda and hope that she will be part of my daughters like for many years to come
