Our daughter has been with Sophie for 18 months now and it’s amazing how much she’s blossomed, all thanks to Sophie (and her lovely assistant Sophie)’s absolute adoration of her. Our daughter comes home happy every day and loves telling us about everything she’s got up to with her friends there. They’re a close-knit group, and they all seem to look after each other really well. Sophie gives us regular updates about activities they’ve all enjoyed, and places they’ve been, and we love getting photos of her having fun.
It was daunting leaving our first daughter with anyone, especially since covid and her never having even been left with family when she started, but Sophie (and Sophie) made the experience incredibly smooth.
We feel so comfortable our daughter being there that they just feel like an extension of the family.
Thank you both for everything you do! Couldn’t recommend more!

Sophie has been looking after our son for over 4 months from when our son was 1 and I returned to work from maternity leave. She made the settling in process (that I have to admit, I was dreading) so easy and our son settled in straight away which made it easier for me to get back into work again knowing that he was happy and well cared for.
Sophie and her family make our son feel so welcome and at home and he lights up when he sees them.
Sophie always has fun activities or play groups planned for the children that have really contributed to our son’s confidence and development.
Sophie keeps us regularly updated not only about what they are doing, eating and when he is sleeping but also about what skills he has developed and achieved. We also love receiving pictures of our son enjoying the activities with the biggest smile on his face.
Our son also has a milk allergy and is currently on the milk ladder and Sophie has been great dealing with this.
I would certainly recommend Sophie as childminder.

Sophie has been looking after my 3 year old for 15 months and he couldn't be happier often asking to go to Sophie's - even at the weekend!
Sophie provides a range of activities to my son, has helped with potty training, developing lovely manners and learning respect for another's home.
Sophie provides regular updates and notes on what they've been up to. She's very aware of developing his skills and abilities in accordance with Ofsted but does it so naturally.
Sophie is caring and treats my son like one of her own and provides a home from home environment of care, support, growth but with no nonsense allowed.

Sophie has looked after all of my children (up to Y6) in before- and after-school care, and during school holidays for over a year now. They have always been happy to go to Sophie's home and often come home with stories of fun they have had and interesting craft projects! She works to hard make sure that all those in her care feel safe and get along happily together; for example Sophie and the children work together on 'house rules' so that everyone knows where the boundaries are.
I have always found Sophie to be a pleasant and kind person with a lovely, friendly manner. Her children are also happy and polite, which I take to be a positive reflection of her parenting skills. I have always been very happy to send my children to her, knowing that they will be well looked-after in a clean and safe environment. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sophie as a childminder.
