Samantha helped me out with care for my baby girl when the nursery she was going to shut down with not enough notice time. My lo had no issues adapting to the setup.
Samantha is warm and friendly and she keeps the number of kids in her care to only around 4 at a time, so that she can give her best to all of them. So refreshingly different from the nursery setup! She keeps the kids occupied with a ton of activities, both indoor and outdoors. Overall, definitely recommend her!

Samantha has been looking after my daughter for 2 days a week since she was 10months old. As a first time mum with a very clingy baby I was apprehensive about the return to work. On the first meet however, Samantha scooped my daughter up and made her feel so comfortable. I knew it was a fantastic fit. Samantha provides timely updates throughout the day and really knows the children she cares for. My daughter always enjoys her time there and greets Sammantha with a big smile and hug at drop off. I couldn't have asked for more - thanks for everything!

Samantha took care of our son for a week while on a work trip to Edinburgh. We were worried about arranging childcare, however those worries very quickly disappeared. Samantha is fantastic! She constantly provides updates throughout the day, with what he ate/what he was doing/and how he is settling. Her home is lovely, with nice indoor and outdoor spaces, she makes tasty meals and snacks, and in general, he was extremely well taken care of. Our son is already looking forward to going to Samantha's again, and we highly highly recommend her to anyone who needs help with childcare!

Visiting Edinburgh from the U.S. with our 2 children (1y.o. and 2y.o.) and Edinbairns provided last-minute care for both that extended through the week of our stay. The kids absolutely loved it, and by the second day our 2y.o. was already excited to leave in the morning and wanted to stay and play longer at pick-up time. We were provided frequent updates on how they were doing, what they were eating, and received tons of pictures. Samantha was really wonderful with being flexible with our times, especially when we would get lost and would run a little late for pickup, and even gave us lots of recommendations for things to do and places to eat in Edinburgh during our 'child-free' hours. The kids were given nice balanced meals, and plenty of time of both inside and outside play, and generally had a fantastic time.

Our little one needed some experience of childcare after being in lockdown and only having us looking after him. We didn't want to send him off to school nursery without any preparation, so Samantha agreed to help get him ready for the experience and gave great advice on what we could teach him to help him get more used to the idea. By the end of his sessions he was super comfortable being dropped off and always had exciting things to tell us about what he got up to. Really glad Samantha was flexible about taking him on and putting in the extra work to help him understand what was needed of him.

My so started with Samantha and he loves there from the first day! Settling is very easy and he loves all the activities like going to safari, the park and cycling 10 miles! I received loads of beautiful smiles photo and release my worry about if he is cry or not. My daughter went occasionally for half term she absolutely love it and even don't want to go home! I would strongly recommend Samantha to all my friends or any one who needs her! She Is SUPER Good! Oh forgot to mention she cooks 100 times better than me! My kids love her food!

We started our 20-Month old son with Samantha during lock down and he loved it so much we decided to keep him there instead of going back to nursery. Samantha welcomes the children into her home and makes sure they feel so comfortable. She is full of ideas for activities, both indoors and outdoors. She makes lovely home cooked meals too! We love how well she keeps in touch with us during the day too, always sending photos and videos so we know what our son is up to. We recommend Samantha very very highly!!

Samantha did an excellent job of taking care of my children. They absolutely loved spending time with her and were both very well looked after. Samantha made them both feel at ease and fed them healthy good food. She was especially good at caring for my 7 month old girl.

Samantha is a brilliant childminder. She has provided a safe and enjoyable environment for our son. each week he looks forward to going there and meeting with his new friends. He has settled in very quickly and enjoys all activities within his little group. He has great routine in there, naps and eats well. We are feeling comfortable while our boy is there. Samantha keeps us updated by sending us pictures and videos. I know he is under good care and have lots of fun.

The house was always full of giggles and fun whenever I cared for your son and he had such a good time. He loved to take part in activities and play outside and go on adventures with us.

I cannot speak highly enough of how kindly and attentively Samantha is looking after our little boy. Before starting to go to hers he was a fairly moody and hard to please toddler. After a day at Samantha's he is virtually bouncing off the floor with happiness and excitement. He has been talking about their activities even days after having his last session with her, which to me is clearly a sign that he is bonding and making very good experiences. We were worried at first because our boy screamed through the viewing but she knew exactly how to comfort him and there have never been any tears since. She has been keeping us up to date with lovely photos and videos and has accommodated all sorts of quirks with ease. She makes her job look effortless by staying calm and structured. I don't know how she does it but it really works for our little mister grumpy pants.

caring for your son was lovely and so fun. He was always ready to play and take part in activities. He loved to tell me stories and play with Hamish especially.
I'm so glad that even months on we are still able to keep in touch and that he still asks for me. It's been lovely to meet you both the times that we have been able to.
