Cynthia looked after our 1 year old for six months.
During her time with us, she acted with professionalism, flexibility and expertise.
She very quickly formed a bond with our son. He really loved her looking after him. And it was clear how much she genuinely cared for him too.
We were impressed with how actively she developed our son. We were amazed at the things she taught him. She helped him learn how to walk, eat with a fork and talked to him a lot to stimulate his speaking.
We really appreciated her flexibility in her dealings with us. Not only in how she looked after our son, but also she was easy to live with and accommodated our work arrangements.
She has considerable experience and training in early childcare. We felt that her care of our son was excellent. Further, she was a great advisor and sounding board for us as young parents on childcare questions generally.
She finished her contract with us as per our initial agreement. We remain on very good terms and wish her all the best for the future.
Overall
We had the chance to have Cynthia with us in our home during 2021 to 2022, and love her passion and enthusiasm to play and care for our 6-yr-old daughter. She adapted well to our family, would follow our instructions and support us just coming off the pandemic. I have nothing but gratitude for her time with us.

After having worked for us for just over 3 months Cinthia advised she wanted to leave for personal reasons and offered a month’s notice in line with our agreement. However 2 weeks in to her period of notice she packed up her stuff and left without so much as a goodbye and she texted to advise she had left and was not coming back, leaving us without any childcare whatsoever. This girl should not be trusted to look after children as she doesn’t take her responsibilities seriously or care for the children. We should have listened to our children who really didn’t take to her with our eldest often complaining about the way she looked after them. Hire her at your own risk!!!!
