Our son attended Teresa's setting for two years, from when he was one year old to three years old. We couldn't have been happier with the years he spent with her, he really was welcomed into her home and family. Every morning he was so happy to go to 'Teaser's house' and he loved seeing her and her dog Molly and we knew that we were giving him to a safe pair of hands.
He learnt so much in his two years with Teresa, going from a baby to a real little boy with his own interests. Teresa uses holidays and celebrations to theme their time, examples include Tiger Who Came to Tea picnics on World Book Day to beautiful Christmas crafts. They also attend local playgroups where she always encouraged him to join in, and he would come home and sing us his favourite songs. She would often send us photos of what they had done each day, and communicated promptly when there was something to address.
We don't have a pet and so found it valuable that Teresa has a dog, especially as she has taught him how to approach dogs correctly.
We highly recommend Teresa to anyone looking for childcare locally, she cares so much for the children and provides a wonderful environment for them.

Our daughter attended Teresa’s setting from the age of 11 months until she was 2 and a half years old. We were so happy to drop her off every morning and our little girl was super excited to see Teresa (and Molly the dog) every day. We felt safe and reassured that we were leaving her in good hands and that she was happy while in Teresa’s care; it became her second home.
We went through the difficult times of entering a pandemic and things closing down, but as soon as she was able to, Teresa made her setting safe and covid friendly so that she could welcome the children back to her home.
We were super sad to have to leave, but as we moved to the other side of London we, reluctantly, had to take our daughter out of Teresa’s care.
We would highly recommend Teresa to anyone looking for a childminder. She is professional, creative, loving, caring and really took time to understand our daughter. She kept a daily diary and often sent us photos of their activities and outings. Her whole family were wonderful, her husband dressing up as Father Christmas at the Christmas parties, and her children, especially her daughter was so caring towards our little girl.
We miss Teresa and her family and still keep in touch!

Teresa is an exceptional childminder; she is very loving and kind. Our daughter has been under her care since she was six months old. At that young age, our preference was to have Farah in a home environment rather than a nursery. She settled in remarkably quick which was fantastic as we were both back to full-time work. It also worked out well because a few months later Teresa started minding another girl the same age as Farah so they have been friends and grown up together the last two years. Farah has also settled in extremely well into Teresa's home, she is especially close to Teresas daughter, they have always had a close bond. Teresa also has a pet dog, Molly who Farah absolutely adores and she is constantly hugging him like a teddy. Molly is very good around children and she has been adorable with Farah.
Teresa keeps a daily diary and she takes the children to play group every week a couple of times, the library and for walks in the park or down by the river. She is also very good at arts and crafts and always remembers special days in the year e.g mother's Day, birthdays etc.
Farah has never in the two years not wanted to go to Teresa's, she is very happy to go in the mornings and this had just meant it not being stressful for us as we're just content knowing she's happy and she has thrived in the environment.
We're really sorry to leave Teresa and the other children but we just felt it is the right time now to transition into a Montessori setting where she can further develop. Would I change anything up to now, not at all, I'd do it all again tomorrow!

Teresa and her whole family are so kind and welcoming. Our son warmed to her very quickly and it’s clear that she loves her job - she’s really great with all the kids. Her home is cozy and safe but she’s always out and about with the kids, even bringing them to the library to pick out a book. She looked after our son from 7months to 2.5 years and he had a wonderful time and developed really quickly in her care. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind and dedicated childminder.

There is a reason Teresa is rated Outstanding! We could not recommend her more highly. We first entrusted our baby into Teresa's care when she was 8 months old, and we felt she was too young for nursery. We were anxious first-time parents with no family in London and Teresa was able to figure out our baby and give us fantastic sleep advice - helping us create a routine that saw our sleep-resistant baby begin to sleep right through the night! Teresa from the outset has been so caring and informative, and our baby girl has thrived in her care. She provides a stimulating, safe environment and takes our baby to soft play and outdoor activities. She gives her lots of nurturing attention and has helped our weaning programme with delicious meals and healthy snacks. We are so grateful to the experience Teresa has shared and only hope we can continue to work with her when we return from the U.S, as she is understandably sought-after.

I would highly recommend Teresa, who has cared for my baby since she was 10 months old, now she is 2 years old. My baby settled with Teresa, and considers her like a family member, in a warm, loving environment, a perfect home from home.
Teresa takes time and care to get to know each and every baby she is caring for, giving them the love and individual attention they each need. They spend time in productive and educational activities, going out, messy play at home, baking, dressing up, and my baby really looks forward to spending time with Teresa and her lovely family.
Teresa provides babies with healthy, home cooked food, healthy snacks and fruits, taking into account our own cultural food requirements and her home is clean, warm and inviting and she keeps in touch with us regularly.
I would have no hesitation providing Teresa with any reference and recommending her services to any parent looking for an excellent, childminder.

Teresa has been looking after our little boy (nearly two) for almost a year now (since Jan 2015). We could not be happier with the care he has had from her over this period. She is incredibly kind, warm and calm and he is very happy with her. In addition all her family have welcomed him and really made him feel part of the family. He always looks forward to seeing everyone!
When he first started, she helped him to settle quickly and got him into a great routine. She takes him out to different activities, including playgroups, the library, park and farm. They do lots of reading stories, creative and physical activities and he is even starting to learn some letters!
She is focused on his development and in addition to helpful and specific daily feedback on what he's been doing, we get regular feedback about his progress and she actively identifies and engages him in activities to support his development.
We are extremely happy with all aspects of his care and wouldn't change a thing!

Teresa looked after our daughter from the age of 13 months until she turned 3 this summer (2015).
We could not be happier with the care our daughter received through that period in her warm home (they went out for walks, to the park, playgroups etc.). My daughter is now a very confident eloquent and well-behaved little girl.
We are so happy to have found Teresa and I am so sad we cannot leave our new baby with her (we no longer live in Vauxhall).

Teresa has been looking after my 1 year old son since I returned to work when he was not quite 9 months. It was a scary prospect, the idea of leaving my baby boy, and several nursery viewings did nothing to alleviate my worries. Then I met Teresa through Childcare.co.uk, and I can honestly say that the moment she opened her front door to meet us I knew everything was going to be alright!
Her warmth and caring nature came across immediately, and this has been proven by how much my son loves both her and partner Errol. They have created a welcoming, nurturing place for him in their home, and he is thriving in their care. Her lovely children have also been amazing with him, so friendly, and he in turn adores them. He has had so many firsts since Teresa started caring for him - first steps, first proper meals, first words - and I credit Teresa's patience. Her guidance and welcome words of advice have also helped my husband and I when each new learning stage comes about for our son.
There are always new and exciting outdoor activities in his 'little blue book' at the end of the day - city farms, park visits, riverside walks - and when indoors, Teresa always ensures he's occupied and engaged - storytelling, crafts and hand painting being just a few (treasured pictures to put on the fridge!).
Teresa has really helped us to give our son's daytime routine more structure, and since being in her care, his routine has really settled down - for example, naps are now regular and for the required amount of time, especially in the afternoon. This has led to him being a far more content baby.
I can't recommend Teresa enough as a childminder, and can confidently say that any parents fortunate enough to get a place for their child in Teresa's care will feel blessed!
