Emma has cared for my daughter from 9 months to almost 2. Since day 1 Emma has always made us feel so comfortable about the care, always keeping us updated with pictures and a breakdown of her day.
Emma has such a caring presence with the kids and goes above and beyond to ensure that they are constantly having a good day and learning new things. Whether it’s having the confidence to start walking or improving eating habits! She teaches the kids important skills that was helpful and transitioned to home life too. Our daughter has adapted to being around other kids so well and I know that’s due to the friendships that’s she made with the help of Emma.
Emma has always made sure that kids ate healthy nutritious meals and snacks and learnt the importance of eating together too. The environment Emma has built is great for the kids too, new rotation of toys and a great garden to give the kids space to explore and play. Also the daily trips outside to make sure the kids are the always exploring and seeing new things and interacting with others.
We will always be grateful for the impact Emma has made on our little family as she helped us through those early years been new parents always giving us advice and assurance we were doing well. We will miss our daily chats and i know our girl will miss the lovely time she’s had with Emma and her family and Lou Lou (the cat).
I couldn't recommend Emma enough for playing the critical role of a child minder for us with such a caring, loving and warm attitude.
Emma cared for our daughter for 3 months. Sadly we had to leave London sooner than planned. We are so sad so have to say goodbye to Emma and her family.
Emma has been an absolute godsend to us. As first time parents we have been so grateful for her guidance and support. She is very friendly and kind and our daughter adores her.
I wholeheartedly recommend Emma to any parent looking for a caring setting for their little one. I am not sure we will find anyone else like her again!
Emma has looked after our son three days a week for almost a year, since he was one. We were initially tempted to go with a nursery and are so pleased we didn't - Emma provides such a nurturing, positive and fun environment for children. She gives individual care and attention to each child and they form strong bonds with her as she is so kind and caring. She has treated our son like part of her family and put me at ease immediately - she is incredibly experienced and a safe pair of hands. Her home also has a beautiful spacious and contained garden which the children can play in every day - it is a perfect environment for little ones!
The children she looks after learn manners, eat healthy food together and get on very well. They go out for lovely activities every day such as visiting parks and playgrounds, seeing ducks, even going to Museums and other play areas. We would have loved her to look after our son for much longer but sadly moved house.
Emma is also very flexible, reliable and great with communication - provided regular photos of our son playing and reassured us with photos when he was settling in and might get upset at drop off that he was honestly fine a couple of minutes later. If you are considering Emma as your childminder I wouldn't hesitate - we were so lucky to have her look after our son and couldn't recommend her highly enough. Thank you so so much Emma!
After looking after my first son a few years ago, Emma now looks after our second son which in itself says it all! We wouldn’t have asked anyone else.
Emma is a lovely, caring childminder who has taken really good care of both of my children. She has a lovely home with a garden (my son loves playing outside). She keeps us updated with information and photos. She is very flexible which is amazing when you work shifts especially if they change last minute.
I honestly cannot fault Emma and would recommend her to anyone looking for a childminder. I will definitely be back if I ever have anymore children in the future.
Emma was great from the start. My daughter immediately got comfortable in Emma's home. With our first meeting she was already playing with her daughter and Emma.
My daughter did two mornings a week. Her house was very spacious amd suitable for children. Her outdoor garden was great for the kids to play in.
We was always updated through out the day what she ate, how many nappies, what she had done and pictures.
Highly recommend Emma and hoping to go back there soon.
We were really lucky to find Emma here as our nanny didn't show up and it was really a last minute arrangement!
So Emma was looking after our kid who is a year and a half old for three long days!
I was a bit anxious on the first day because its a new place for our boy to stay, so I've asked if Emma could send me and mum regular updates / images during the day of our little one. And he took it like a real champ and I must say was very very happy :) The next day I felt really confident leaving our little one with Emma as I think she really enjoys her time with kids and they feel it too!
Also there is a really cool outside garden that our kid enjoyed a great deal!
We don't eat meat, and I was pleased to know that Emma will meet our dietary needs!
Emma is a mum herself and I think thats really important to do a great job a s childminder!
We are really going be seeing Emma more often in the nearest future!
My son started with Emma in March 2017. It was the first time I have left him with anyone after my maternity leave. Within a couple of meetings my son was holding his arms out for her which really made me feel at ease.
Emma has a lovely home with a nice spacious garden for the children to play in, perfect for the summer months. I have also met some of her children whom I noticed to be particularly well behaved and sweet.. always a good sign!
We are continuously updated throughout the day on an app called daily connect. Emma uploads pictures of my son throughout day, adds notes about what they have been up to, what he has had for lunch (A large variety of fresh lunches) and how much he has eaten, right down to how many times she changes his nappy. Almost as good as being there.
Emma is extremely flexible which is a god send for a shift worker such as myself. With a little bit of notice Emma always tries her best to accommodate my requests.
I felt very anxious about leaving my son but now I can relax in the knowledge that whilst I am at work my son is being taken care of and is having fun. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Emma for anyone looking for a friendly, flexible and reliable child minder.
We placed our daughter with Emma in September 2016 as we were very unhappy with our previous childminder.
It was a very stressful time and we were worried about the upheaval of moving our daughter.
However, we immediately felt at ease with Emma and our daughter took to her straight away, pretty much leaving us at the door on the first visit, which was a great relief!
Emma is warm and kind and fun and has a lovely, tidy and open home, with a garden where the kids can play.
They go on outings or to groups every day and we are always kept updated with what she has been doing each day either by being sent photos or updates on a special app that has been set up which really takes the worry out of everything.
Emma always makes sure to give us plenty of notice for any leave that needs to be taken so we have ample time to make arrangements and is always willing to be flexible when we get stuck with work or other things crop up.
Our daughter also loves Emma’s children and plays with them often which is really lovely.
I would really recommend Emma as a childminder and would happily give a direct reference to anyone interested in having her as their child’s carer.
