I went to Nicky when I was younger now both my children have been with Nicky since they was 7 months old and are now in school. They both love her and enjoy going. The range of equipment and toys is amazing, she replaces the toys quite often also and has a garden full with toys for the children. Would 100% recommend Nicky to anyone.

Thank you Shan for your review it tells me I've got it right when children I have previously looked after years ago ask me to look after there children.
I as a 6 year old kid went to nickys and I absolutely loved it she always provided an immaculate warm and caring environment. We never ran out of things to do from day trips out to professional people coming in with animals, every Easter,Halloween, & Christmas, Nicky would provide party’s for what ever the occasion where we would do apple bobbing arts & crafts and much much more! I made so many friends from going to nickys who I still remain best friends with now at the age of 26! Nicky also had my son from being 3 months old right until the age of 3 when he went to school! My son adored her and still asks to go see his nick nick now 💙 My daughter is just about to start at nickys she’s 2 and I know she will love it, I feel at ease knowing she’s with someone who will look after her properly who provides educational activities. I also feel at ease knowing that my child is given nutritional food every meal is home made for the kiddies and not just something out the freezer that’s quick and easy! I cannot thank nicky enough she bends over backwards for me at such short notice even still with my son if I can’t get to school on time nicky is always happy to help. She’s very reasonably priced the best I found for what services she offers. payments are monthly and are adjusted accordingly, I would highly recommend Nicky I can’t stress enough how much I would recommend her! Definitely the best around that I have found.

Thanks you Toni it's nice to see I had such a good impact on you when you were young that you trust me with children that speaks volumes .
My two sons attend nickys childminding service and have done for over 12 months, its always a welcome and clean environment, extremely helpful and accommodating as i work for the nhs and my shifts change daily. Brilliant home cooked food, always has events planned for the kids so there always active and learning, my boys don't ever wana leave nickys. Price worked out over the year and then adjusted accordingly to my shifts each month. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I agreed with Nicky in May to look after my daughter from September. She gave me the contracts to read at home, and then told me she didn’t fill out the price as she’ll still need to work it out. She messaged me the figures which were more than we originally agreed on. I asked for a price breakdown as I couldn't make the prices and hours we spoke about match up, out of nowhere she told me that she decided to not take on my daughter as I didn’t seem happy with her contract. This happened 2 weeks before the agreed start date in September . I told her she had left me in a very difficult situation and she didn't need to go about it like that, all I wanted was a written break down of the figures and I asked her to change her mind about not taking my daughter. She never replied. I wouldn’t recommend her and if you already use her, please do check what you’re paying for. Luckily for me my bosses were very understanding about the very difficult situation I was left in 2 weeks before the start of term, and they agreed changing my working hours as I was unable to find another childminder in such a short notice.

I am sorry you feel this way.
It is common practice within childcare that if a child doesn't attend you still pay for the day or place that you are allocated, which you expressed you wasn't happy with.
The price was not included because it would change and the over all figure that I gave you was only a guideline as each month would fluctuate and I raise invoices each month accordingly .
I advised you on the 21st of August that I wouldn't be taking you on and you wasn't due to start until the 20th of September which is 4 weeks.
The reason for my decision was due to non agreement on fees.
My fees are very competitive with those in my area, this is the first time I have experienced this with a parent and I am saddened that the review of my services does not reflect my setting as your child never even started with me.

I’ve known Nicky for over 6 years now
I first met Nicky in 2013 when I needed childcare for my 10 week old son. I knew as soon as I walked in her home i knew that she was by far better than the others I’d seen
I have 4 children that all come to Nicky and all love coming to Nicky. My 2 older children are now full time at school but still come to Nicky in holidays
Her home is lovely and clean there is plenty of space and good toys for the children inside and lots of outside toys as well
I couldn’t wish to have a better childminder

My son joined Nicky when he was only 10 months old, he has been with Nicky for over 6 years and with great sadness he has just finished due to my work commitments changing. My son had his last day with Nicky today and he was so sad to leave as he has become very attached to her.
Nicky has a really lovely manner with all the children in her care, she is always kind, calm and patient with them and all the children including my son are happy and well behaved and know whats expected of them. Nicky's facilities are excellent her home is very welcoming to both children and parents, her setting is exactly what i was looking for when i chose Nicky's, the play area, the table where arts and crafts are completed, and the garden is great. Its like home from home.
I was reassured with my choice when my son settled so quickly and was very happy there and really loved Nicky.
Nicky's toy and facilities are fantastic in that children dont play with just gender stereotype toys, my son's progress since joining Nicky's has been fantastic.
I feel i have been very lucky to have found Nicky i have had 6 years of unparalled childcare, a home from home setting has benefited my son enormously in terms of his developments, i cannot thank Nicky enough.
Nicky is very committed, professional and always gives the children her full attention, at the same time shes able to talk easily to parents and give help and advice where needed.
The cleanliness at Nicky's is outstanding, i remember going to some providers and was appalled at the cleanliness which was another big tick for me.

Nicky is a fantastic child minder, she is brilliant with the children she has in her care and my daughter has developed massively since joining with Nicky. She is easy to get along with and is very down to earth. My daughter settled in straight away and loves going to nickys. Highly recommend her to anyone seeking a childminder. The children are well looked after and are 100% safe within her care. Always had piece of mind from day one of my daughter being with Nicky. Any child attending nickys services are very lucky and you will see a great development in your child with learning, speech, manners etc. Xx

My Daughter went to nickys for several years and she realy enjoyed it. she came home more or less every day with things she had made i.e crafts, paintings. Nicky took the children out on trips. I would highly recommend Nicky as a childminder i always felt that my daughter was safe and well looked after which gave me great peace of mind.x
