Can’t recommend Jamma and Mick at Oopsie Chains more highly. They first started taking care of our daughter when she was 9 months old, and we were really worried about her starting childcare because of her separation anxiety and failed attempts to move away from contact naps. Jamma and Mick immediately made us feel welcome and reassured, and she settled in really well thanks to their advice - and even started napping in a cot which was a revelation! Our daughter stayed at Oopsie Chains for almost 2.5 years until we moved away from the area, and she absolutely loved it. They always gave us really detailed updates on how she was getting on, including lots of lovely photos showing her having fun which meant a lot to us. Her development in this time was fantastic, we could see her progress weekly. Their setting is lovely - in particular they have a beautiful garden with lots of exciting toys, and they are right next to the forest for trips out to explore.
We’re forever grateful to Jamma, Mick and their family for taking our daughter into their home and caring for her so well. They have felt like family to us, their home has been a much loved safe space and home from home for our daughter. She absolutely adores them both and will miss them a lot!

Jamma and Michael have been looking after our little boy for the past two years, starting from when he was 12 months old. We've loved having them as his childminders. They are warm and caring, communication is excellent, and we really like that he is cared for in a family setting. We would highly recommend Jamma and Michael for the following reasons:
- They have lots of outdoor space. The children spend a lot of time outdoors in the garden or in the woods during the summer
- They are extremely flexible, accommodating and understanding
- They take the children on fun occasional trips - from bigger outings like the farm to smaller adventures like going to the supermarket
- They know our son well and support his development without being pushy
Our son has loved his time with Jamma and Michael and we feel very lucky that we found them at the time we did. We will miss seeing them every day, and we know our little boy will miss them, too!

Clemency joined Jamma & Michael when she had just turned 6 months and will leave just before she turns 11 months. Had we met J & M before we had secured a nursery place, we are sure Clem would have stayed for much much longer.
Every morning, we feel like we are dropping our daughter off at a home from home. We are always met with a warm welcome and at pick up, it is immediately clear what a fun, nurturing and fulfilling day our daughter has had.
Communication is second to none. There’s always time in a morning to discuss the night before and at pick up, clear points on her day. This is doubled up with a daily report and detailed development notes.
Clem joined Oopsie Chains in the early days of weaning - J & M supported us with this huge step in the early days. Clem now joins the other children eating a varied, 3 meal a day diet.
We are incredibly grateful to all Jamma, Michael and their two daughters (who are frequently seen playing with Clem at the end of the day once they return from school - it’s so wonderful to see Clem having inspiring role models that are other children) have done for our daughter. Whilst Clem is now heading to nursery, we deeply hope that we will continue to have some relationship with OC over the next few years.
We could not recommend them enough.

Our son started with Jamma and Michael when he was 10 months old and has been with them up until now when he has just turned 3. We honestly couldn't have asked for better childminders, Jamma and Michael have felt like family to us and our son has come on so much in their care. The setting is a home from home and it's been so brilliant to have them both involved - our son adores them and has been a huge fan of Mick and having that extra male role in his life has been really great for him. Their care has always been very warm, nurturing and professional and we've always felt supported by them both especially in terms of our son's development. Communication has always been great both at drop off and pick up and via messages during the day. Their home is lovely with a great outdoor space and the children always seem so happy there and to be having so much fun. We're so grateful that our son had such a fantastic, positive start in life and we will be sad to leave. We wish them lots of luck and would highly recommend this placement to anyone.

We can’t recommend Jamme highly enough as a childminder.
She began looking after our eldest daughter in 2015 followed by our youngest daughter in 2017. During that time Jamma has played an important role in helping our children grow and develop; we and the kids see Jamma as extended family.
Things we really like about Oopsie Chains:
- Warm and nurturing - this is a place that our kids love to be
- Good at communicating with us if there are any issues we need to be aware of
- Really clean environment
- Good outdoor space
- Good mix of children - this is a social setting, which has been brilliant for our daughters
- Always accommodating whenever we have an issue at work that means we can’t get the kids bang on time
- Always reliable. I don't think we've ever had a day when Jamma hasn't been able to look after our kids for us.

My daughter 'N' started with Jamma when she was 8 months and settled in very quickly despite my own anxious mummy concerns. Jamma was attentive to this and would send me photos and updates of her day. This made the transition back to work a lot easier for me.
N became attached to Jamma quickly and on arrival would leap into her arms, I found this to be particularly reassuring, especially since she was often fussy with new faces. I have always found Jamma to be approachable and caring. My daughter has suffered terribly with teething and related colds. My husband and I have always been touched by the concern shown by Jamma outside her working hours as she would often text for an update on our daughters recovery.
N has benefited from a home-from-home setting as well as having visited 'stay and play' and like groups. Our daughter has grown to love her youngest daughter whom from the beginning had shown so much affection for N. We would like to say a heart-felt thank you to Jamma and her family. We wish her every success with Oopsie Chains.

My daughter has been with Jamma from when she was 9 months old and has just reached her first birthday. Jamma is organised and professional as well as being friendly and relaxed in equal measure. I can tell my daughter views Jamma's house a home from home. Jamma is always accommodating when there are slight amendments to drop off and pick up times. When I didn't have a car on one occasion Jamma was happy to pick up my daughter up from my house. Jamma often asks if my daughters needs are being met and if I'm happy with her progress. Jamma is very understanding of my work pressures since going back to work and has been very accommodating. Jamma is also compliant with dietary requirements that I have for my daughter. Jamma currently works alongside another equally as professional and friendly childminder and both work well together to help maintain a good balance of care for my daughter. I honestly couldn't ask for more in a childminder. I get updates daily on what my daughter is up to and how she is getting on including some photos. Every day when I collect her I always get a little update on the day and I am able to discuss anything I may need to. I trust Jamma implicitly with the care of my daughter and I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat.

My two boys (aged 9 and 6) started with "Auntie Jam" ( as they call her) over a year ago now for morning drop off and after school, and I couldn't have wished for a better childminder. I have a very unpredictable job and Jamma alleviates any stress or anxiety that I may be experiencing regarding the daily commute or work deadlines that may affect each and every day. For example, recently I was about to catch a flight abroad for work, while my husband was stuck in a meeting. My son was sick at school and immediately needed picking up, which neither of us could possibly do. Before I knew it I received a text that my son was safely collected and recuperating on Jamma's sofa! Utterly seamless - I was relieved my son was in safe hands while also glad I didn't have to let work down...
My boys are very happy going to Jamma's and have made lots of friends as she works in tandem with another great childminder. So there is a ready-made "family" of children of varying ages. There is also her daughters Zinnya and Aanya whom the boys really enjoy being around, and her hubby who sometimes helps out too. They are simply a very laid-back family but at the same time very professional, which is the perfect balance.
Jamma is very aware of my boys' ages and what that require accordingly. She will often ask me to update her on anything they may additionally like to eat or any extra activities they may enjoy. She is also very organised and has a superb work ethic. She organises activities during the school holidays which the boys really look forward to.
I would highly recommend Jamma and, in fact, don't know what I'd do without her now! I think I am very fortunate to have found her.
