About Us
We are a busy, but friendly school, with lots going on. Our aim is to work in partnership with parents, to build on the experiences and skills you have already developed with your child at home. Everyone at Gray’s Farm has high standards and expectations in all we do. We take enormous pride in the fact that we always do our best in terms of social, sporting, creative and academic achievements. We believe every member of the Gray’s Farm Community; pupils, parents, staff, governors and supporting professionals have a vital role to play in ensuring our school is the very best it can be, this means we all routinely go ‘that extra mile’. At Gray’s Farm we work hard to provide a stimulating, supportive and challenging learning environment, in which children feel confident and want to learn and do their best. We believe that every single child wants to succeed and has the potential to achieve great things. We aim to meet the needs of each individual by ensuring that we provide pupils with the opportunities, support, challenge and encouragement needed to develop their social, emotional, creative, academic and physical abilities to the full.
At Gray’s Farm we talk a lot about Success, that’s because we genuinely think it is important. We believe that if the children of today are to meet the challenges of tomorrow and embrace the changing world they are growing into, one we cannot fully imagine, they will need not only excellent basic skills such as reading, writing, mathematics and computing skills; but they will also need to develop a range of other attributes such as the ability to work alongside others, know how to reflect on their own learning, be able to find creative solutions to problems, ask the right questions, and above all be resilient and self-motivated individuals. We are committed to developing these qualities in an inclusive climate that promotes respect, confidence and responsibility. Gray’s Farm is here for its pupils, they are central to all we do; we believe children who know how to enjoy being successful at school will go on to become their own success stories later in life.
We want your child to flourish and feel happy and secure during their time with us because Gray’s Farm is a place where aspirations and ambitions come true. We work hard to keep our motto, ‘Believe, Achieve Succeed’, central to all we do so that every child can be given the best possible start to their education and what we hope will become their life-long learning journey.
