About Me
I'm Susan and have loved being around children for as long as I can remember, I always have family and friends children around and take them out for the day.
When I was 16 my mum then had my sister, who I am very close to and helped with everything from day one. She was my little sidekick and still is
Although I have no children of my own, I have more than enough toys and equipment to open Mothercare (so my Gran tells me). I have many indoor and outdoor toys to keep the children happy, learning, growing and having FUN!
I am now starting my journey as a full time childminder and I'm extremely excited, a job I love.
You will find me very honest, trustworthy and reliable.
My Experience
When I was 16 my mum then had my sister and helped with everything from day one.
From 2004 -2008 I looked after my cousins' children when they returned to work, there is three months between them and then another a year later, I had a third little lady to look after. I loved this we was always out and about at Ogden waters, Tumbles, St Ives or doing fun things at home (I also worked evenings to pay my way). As this was not official when they started school I then started school too! I loved working as a teaching assistant and did so for two years working with different ages and abilities. At school I also worked with special needs children and children with behaviour problems. I still had my evening job to pay my way but was made redundant and ended up back in an office full time, but take a week off in February to go with the school to Ingleborough Hall residential.
My Qualifications
EYFA trained
I have completed a pediatric first aid course.
Have experience as a teaching assistant in primary school.

CRB checked
I have also attending "working with chidren"
and "childs play" course
My Availability
I offer year round care and have flexible hours available from early until late, I will also be offering overnight and weekend care (which will need to be pre-booked), this is available to children from birth. This should help support parents who have unusual working hours, working together helping their children become well rounded individuals to thrive and reach their potential.
