About Me
hi my name is claire, i am an ofsted registered childminder,
i live in a quiet cul-de-sac in westbrook. i live with my husband we have four boys aged 28, 26, 22 & 20.
we also have a cat called 'spud'.
& a two small dogs a chihuahua named Stanley & a chihuahua cross called Rosie.
I registered as a childminder in june 08 at my last Ofsted inspection i was graded good.
I only use the the ground floor for childminding,
We regularly visit parks, wildwood, Wingham wildlife park, library, indoor play areas, cinema, castles, museums, playgroups / childminding groups and much more.
im fully insured my husband & our children have been CRB/DBS checked.
my aim is to make your childs time here as fun & happy as possible, in a safe caring enviroment where their individual needs can be met.

My Experience
After leaving school i worked at baltimore day nursery.
Then went on to have my first two boys,
I studied at Broadstairs college, where I completed a Certificate in child care and education, working with babies.
I spent The following four years working at first steps day nursery & having another little boy, I left The nursery in 2002 to spend more time at home.
Then we went on to have another little boy, so with a very busy house of four boys I then spent 4 years at home caring for them.
I returned to childcare in 2008 as a childminder.
My Qualifications
Certificate in childcare and education, working with babies
first aid, peadeatric
observation, assessment and planning,
introduction to the childcare practise (Homebase]
Diploma in homebased care, DHC level 3
