About Me
Hi I'm Lisa- based at the top of Walmersley, Bury.
I am passionate and enthusiastic about childminding and childcare and have enjoyed being a registered childminder for 18 years.
I am a parent of two amazing children aged 20 and 24 , and a cat called Maisie!
I love the early years development of children, watching them see things for the first time and the magic of every new exploration.
I provide an environment where they are safe and secure while having fun and learning new things. I want the parents of children in my care to feel like they are playing an active part in their child's life even when they are in my care. I work with parents to understand their child's needs and provide a consistency between home life and their time with me, because every child is an individual and at a different stage of their development. Communication between myself and parents is a priority .
I want all of the children in my care to have a wide range of experiences both in the house and away. I have a large secure garden where children can play or dig. In the house children can take part in lots of different structured activities including messy play, baking, role play, looking at and reading books, dressing up, small world play, jigsaws, board games and puzzles as well as art and craft.
Away from the house we often visit the local farm to feed the ducks and explore the local parks, even when it is raining. I also attend playgroups and classes including Kids Rock.
I want your child to feel as comfortable with me as possible and for you as parents to feel that your child is cared for in a safe and secure environment where their needs are met and their development is encouraged.
I am happy to look after children of all ages and have cared for children as young as 3 months up to 11 years old. I can offer funded places for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.
I pick up from Springside School, Walmersley, Bury and can do 'before and after school' only places.
I was inspected by Ofsted in June 2022 and obtained 'Good' in all areas.
My Experience
I have an NVQ level 3 in Childcare. I have also worked on a voluntary basis at three Bury primary schools and have helped with Sunday School. I am registered on The Bury Directory.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
£6 per hour, minimum 5 hours.
£47 per day inclusive of breakfast and lunch, and snacks, admission for activities.
Before and after School £5 per hour

Lisa was recommended to us by a number of friends, as a calm and enthusiastic childminder who is passionate about childcare. She has now cared for one of my four children for nearly three years and we are planning to send our youngest son to Lisa in September. We trust Lisa implicitly with the care of our children.
Lisa understands the needs of children and promotes their physical, intellectual and emotional development. When my son first went to Lisa's we had concerns about his late speech development. Working with Lisa and with her kind feedback and gentle support my son made huge developmental progress.
Lisa ensured that in her care that my son was able to take part in a wide range of activities in a safe and stimulating environment that helped him develop new found confidence in social situations. The change in my son's behaviour has been quite remarkable and we are very grateful for the hard work Lisa has shown. Lisa's home is clean and welcoming and I know that my children are safe when they are in her care.

Lisa is an excellent childminder and has provided outstanding care to all 4 of my children at various stages. Lisa is always happy and child orientated in all the activities she does with the children in her care. My 2 year old loves coming and can't wait for kids rock on a Wednesday. I have used various other nurseries and childcare options over the years, and Lisa is leagues above the others and my children love going there.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Lisa. She has done a fabulous and dedicated job of minding all three of my boys 8yrs, 6yrs and 4yrs from 9mths of age. They have always enjoyed 'Lisa time' while I worked. She always made them feel safe and secure and had a fantastic relationship with parents too, providing reassurance and support.
