About Me
My name is Karen, I’m a registered childminder with the Care Inspectorate.
I live in the Crossgates with my husband Darryl and our little boy Jack.
I offer a home from home setting, children enjoy a varied range of activities. We make use of local parks, attend toddlers groups, book bug session and local soft plays.
I have a large safe enclosed garden with a play area, there is lots for the children to explore and play with.
I am registered with the PVG Scheme and my husband holds an Enhanced Disclosure.
My Experience
I have been a childminder since 2013, I also have 17.5 years experience working in the private Care sector, 7 of these were managing care homes.
I have a full driving licence and a car available for my sole use if and when required.

I cannot reccomend Karen highly enough to anyone thinking of choosing her as their childminder. She is so professional in her approach, discusses every aspect of your childs care, listens to and also adhere's to your routines and requests which for me is a huge plus point.
Annie has been with Karen now since she was about 6 months and Karen first registered as a childminder and I am extremly pleased that she decided to have a change of career. The attention to detail and the continual sharing of information means that Annie is as happy there as she is at home.
