Ofsted registered (rated good in November 2018 and August 2024 ) childminder with one daughter aged 22 ,who is my assistant… and my partner, we also have 4 indoor cats and one Labrador puppy .. great for teaching children to respect and care of animals.
we live in a nice house with a large garden on the edge Kirdford overlooking fields. So lots of fresh air ,room to run around and opportunities to explore in the local area .
we have a dedicated indoor play area with variety of indoor play items for the children, so they can play and learn in a safe environment as well as a outdoor play area with a range of outdoor items and a wood in walking distant of us. We also grow our own vegetables and fruit ,which the children enjoy helping with and eating . I’m a home from home environment, so we offer a mix of a home environment and with various outings.
we also live about 2 minutes away from a variety of play park ‘s (which we go to regularly) and a short drive to Petworth park ,Midhurst, Billingshurst and Fisher farm and the downs, (I have membership for Fisher farm and national trust ) and we lucky as we have great baby/toddler groups in the area.
My Experience
I’ve been childminding for 15+ years
i have looked after a variety of childminding children ranging from 0 months (newborn experience) to 12 + years old. (School age)
I have a understanding of children with learning differculties . as my daughter and i are dyslexic !
My Qualifications
Paediatric first aid , food safety , fire safety, safeguarding,
I do a variety of Continuing Professional Development coarse's during the year .
My Availability
I'm open from monday to Thursday, from 7.00 till 5.30 and Fridays 7.00 till 5.00. ( this is adjustable to circumstance of parents,so I'm quite flexible during the day) ,
I offer a waiting list for 2025/2026 .

I am registered with Ofsted, and paediatric first aid (tigerlily) and fully insured at home and out and about ,
i drive and have fully covered car business insurance and have all types of car seats (including extending rear facing ) to accommodate whichever age children i look after (they are regularly replaced with new ones) I also have various pushchairs and eating chairs,to suit my smaller clients ,
I work MONDAY TO THURSDAY from 7.00 to 5.30 And FRIDAY 7.00 TO 5.00
I also offer 9+ mouth old, 2 year old and 3/4 year funding as well as tax free childcare .

Chava has looked after our two sons both on a full-time and part-time basis over the last 4 years. She had them from early ages (one at 7 months and one at 2 months) as we were juggling a London-based job, and then setting up a business.
Chava gave the boys a lovely, comforting, constant childcare experience which was very important given their young ages. It was such an easy, 'team caring' effort between us and her service gave us the flexibility we needed in the working day. I had had no experience of home-based child-minding before but it has easily been the best decision we ever made.
The best reference I can give is that my eldest son, now at school, loves going back to Chava's when he can in the holidays, and has asked for extra 'Chava pick ups' from school!
From a practical point of view Chava taught them so many key skills from toilet training to dressing in their outdoor clothes independently to beautiful table and meal-time manners which we use at home.
